So, Bia is definitely a shapeshifter, but we don't know if she can (or does) shapeshift into any non-humanoid form. Since she's a full Titan, her shapeshifting ability may well be inborn, but I don't think we even know that for certain.

Looking back at the Greek legends, the titans were pretty much unlimited shape changers. Zeus in particular seems to have favored non-humanoid shapes (Goose, bull, sun beam, satyr, etc.) for his seductions/rapes.

That could mean that Shelley has more than just her human and sphinx, just that she has probably never thought to try.

The GGGs can shift to animal avatars*; i don't recall them shifting to anything else (though they can apparently morph their clothing, unless the "bunny girls" strip is No Longer An Operative Statement). Tepoz was made from either a rat or a weasel, i forget which, which is not a form i would think he'd be interested in publicly taking ... unless he was hoping to get away from Monica when she was In A Mood with him.

I believe that Zeus and his gang weren't actually Titans - he was the son of a Titan, and one thing for sure about Greek mythological genetics, the species of neither the mother or the father seems to have been definitive in determining what came out.

Y'know, I'm wondering if this is the same impulse which causes some folks to unthinkingly pick up the accents around them as a way of blending in... which I've sometimes caught myself doing, and then had to explain that it wasn't intended as a comment.

On the other hand, they've also solved the "which twin am I talking to" problem... though only partly since they could trade appearances at the drop of a nonexistent hat if they wanted to.

Besides the stories of twins having weird telepathic links and such, twins often develop their own language when they are extremely young, and can sometimes preserve that unique language for decades. It wouldn't be much of a stretch for twins to have a unique nonverbal communication (body language, etc). That would explain how they could coordinate the "party tricks" ... Trick... So quickly. The way it was presented, it seemed as though one morphed into the balloon animal before the other said the words "party tricks".
