Uh, no. WAY too dorky.

Wow, they're good at morphing on a moment's notice. Kinda gives the old putdown-phrase "fast girls" an entirely different meaning!
As to "too dorky" I honestly can't say. At 58 i'm just too many generations removed from the current standards of the youthful set to be able to give any sort of reliable analysis... and my wife swears that I'm entirely fashion-blind anyhow. I'm not sure that nerds like me can even see "dorky."
EDIT: yeah, the Wapsi home page is stale again. Use the Prev-Next-Next trick...

Atsali...speechless... will wonders never cease? Her expression at the wonder twins morph is a riot!!!
EDIT: I don't know why, but on the second read, I got a serious three bears flashback for a minute... Too Dorky? No... I'd say just riiiiight.... hehe I'd say they don't need classes on mimicking humans... they got it right... paws down.

Re: Too Dorky 2013-12-10
Dorky?
All I see are some regular, if a bit tall, girls. A bit country, but not dorky. Then again, my high school experience was... strange... so maybe I have a warped sense of where country and/or wannabe gangster stops and dork starts.
Seriously, if you weren't an outcast who dressed like a normal person, you were a bastard jock who was either a wannabe cowboy or a wannabe gangster, a goth, a corner tart, or a pothead too stoned to know if you were really wearing clothing at all.
...Dang. I'm never sending my kids to that hellhole (if I decide to have kids)...
(Or maybe I just completely missed a whole bunch of sarcasm)
...is this "human form" an ability accessible to all paranormals? Obviously, shapeshifting paranormals have access to this capability, and apparently sphinxes, sirens, jaguar girls, whatever nudge and tsilla are, and Whatsits.

Clearly "dorky" is not the first word to come to Atsali's mind. If she's got self control she won't say the first word that comes to mind, nor the several that follow.
You should be reading the Wapsi Square Wiki.
Re: Too Dorky 2013-12-10
It seems to me that Atsali is in shock because she is looking at her not so well endowed mirror images.

NOoooo! Not too dorky. They both look as though they both walked off the next Dukes of Hazzard Movie set.
Just say one is a little bit Country, and the other is a little bit ROCK n' ROLL!
Both are cute Humans, OW ssssssss!

Well, Nudge wasn't very good at it at first; for all her being a Trickster, she started out having to study shapeshifting in the Library (and under Phix's dubious 'help'). I don't know the ep's address, other peoples archive-fu is stronger than mine.GlytchMeister wrote: ...is this "human form" an ability accessible to all paranormals? Re: Too Dorky 2013-12-10
Not a bit country, a lot country with some South, Farm, and Dukes of Hazzard thrown in. I guess the girls want to change schools. Maybe they've been going to a full human school and want a place they can be themselves more. Where they don't have to hide who they are as much.GlytchMeister wrote:Dorky?

Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

Man, I can't imagine being a teacher in a room of teenaged shapeshifters!
They'd have a dress code AND a face code.

Doc, my first thought was of a HEE-HAW revival. These ladies give me a feeling of being from the back country woods. Not to say that look isn't cute, but it may be time to shift to a style a bit more urban.
Re: Too Dorky 2013-12-10
I agree that Atsali is the inspiration for the twins look but it seems to me to be a bit more Dukes of Hazard look than a Farm look.

Stick a hayseed in each of their mouths and a straw hats on their heads and you'd have the stereotypical country bumpkin females!
Now it is Atsali's turn to help out our young ursamorphs!

Vive la weird!

Too bad they didn't pick THESE country girls as a pattern:

Yep, they both have her face and freckles, that's likely to cause questions/problems. They looked like twins before, now they are triplets, from two different families. I wonder how tall they have shifted to?Mark N wrote:It seems to me that Atsali is in shock because she is looking at her not so well endowed mirror images.
Nudge would probably be the one to point them in the right direction.
This is a new school for them, too. Their old school apparently wasn't so strict about appearing human. Hate to tell them, but one of the requirements about appearing human at their new school is likely to be wearing human clothes, because sometimes you will need to be able to take them off, and not just make them disappear. Probably have snap inspections in gym class, nothing in your locker and you do extra laps.

OK, people. Just remember no matter how cute they may look in human form, they are ursa minors.

Re: Too Dorky 2013-12-10
If it's the proper attire for school they're going for, they are way off. From what we've seen in pinups, the school Atsali attends has a uniform (though she wears the skirt way too high in the pinups). Don't know if Atsail will be flattered the twins are taking on her facial features or insulted they are mocking her. In any event they are cute. Does the half arm on one indicate her arm is behind her back, or an unfinished morph? And I wonder if they became shorter as well? Maybe something closer to Atsali's height. They seem to be pretty tall in para-form.
