Re: Felicia Day As Codex 2013-10-10

I must admit to laughing harder at today's update than at most previous ones. The wailing and lamentations and gnashing of teeth echoing around the globe. . .I'm beginning to suspect that this is all some sort of a fiendish psychological experiment. Gee - you don't look like a Boragrove - maybe you'...

Re: Get This Sorted 2013-10-9

Hmmm. "One of 5 winged beings...." Now I'm wondering how many winged beings we know. Phix, Shelly, Tina (are her wings even real/functioning), Astali, Pratt (again, wings not real). That's 5 but they don't all make sense in context. Don't forget the most dreaded one of all . . . So, now we get to w...

Re: You Need To 2013-10-08

It's interesting to see what Tina is and isn't okay with. Monica lost control and acted like a monster: fine. Monica tortured the Tar: fine. Monica killed the Tar: fine. Monica was sent not fully prepared: horrifying and unacceptable, and now she must kill Tina. Which leaves the question of in preci...

Well, Holmes was a master of disguise, so perhaps he can be a disguised Holmes. Then you can make creative use of whatever you already have available. "Yes, I'm Sherlock Holmes disguised as a Dalek disguised as Viracocha. Can't you tell?"

 Not to sound glib, but have you been checked for a concussion as well? Incurring that many injuries without memory could be a red flag. Nah, the memory problems are from fever. My skull seems to be the one part of me that's still in good shape. I expect the injuries might be from muscle spa...

Re: Not Their Fault 2013-10-01

It would seem like the demons would not have to go through any sort of rehabilitation as to how to be proper demons. After all, the time they have been assigned to Jet so far is less than a second compared to their overall time in existence as demons. It doesn't even make sense that they would feel...

Re: Monica Bikini Power 05 2013-10-02

I became ill on Monday. I don't actually remember anything of Monday, but it is obviously the day I became ill on. So the Plague of Doom does seem to be going around. I also somehow (I don't know how) managed to sprain an ankle, a hip, and a shoulder, crack several ribs and tear up a hand on Monday....

Soo...I know that Tina said her doors were locked, but when did she do that? She was behind the counter the whole time she talked to Jet before calling M...and I seriously doubt that Jet would have just stood there and let Tina lock her in after that emotional unveiling. Does she have an auto-lock ...

Re: Georgette's Kiss 2013-09-02

Well, as far as Monica goes, we saw when she dumped Nudge into a volcano that she has some sort of ability to connect to the emotions of other people; she was able to tell what Nudge was afraid of. And when she confronted Phix whilst in her Jaguar Girl guise, she stated how difficult it was to contr...

I have a bad feeling about this... On the plus side, castela shrubs are perennials rather than just annuals. They're also quite hardy and don't have much in the way of predators/grazers/whateverers. They're also rather uncomfortable to parachute into, though that property of theirs is not too likel...

Hmm, that turned into more of an essay than I had intended. I blame the paranormals for that.

Errr, not that they exist, of course.

Re: Judged By History 2013-08-15

Okay, some people have been asking why the paranormal world would be kept such a secret. First, a few basic assumptions: a) There is a sizable society/societies of various types of paranormals that has existed parallel to or mixed in with normal human society for thousands of years. The normal human...

The key being stuck into Monica's skull during the calendar machine shenanigans (from 5 January 2010). Monica was apparently 29 when this happened, given the dialogue in today's page. Monica reviving from being dead, and Bud explaining that the key resets to when it was used on Monica (from 16 Octo...

Re: Castela, "It's Singing!" 2013-08-06

On another matter, I've been observing young Castela's eyes: They have red highlights, which make them different from Katherine's, and today's pic shows them to be quite different in other ways. There is a 'hollow' quality to her eye sockets and what appear to be floating pupils, but that could jus...

Re: Would You Like That 2013-08-01

Though I will admit I'm a little nervous about Castela being invited to join the adventure party. These ladies tend to have dangerous adventures, and a little tyke like Pickle could cause some problems for lack of knowing how to behave. Maybe Kat's just framing her invitation to be adopted that way...

Remember the nature of this orphanage's charges. That baby could be completely naked, and simply be in the larval form of whatever critter it may grow up to be.

Cue the nightmares for me... From my experience of being a giant spider for several years, I can assure you that such situations result in at least as much emotional trauma (if not more) for the unfortunate spider involved. "It. . .it was horrible ! This colossal thing came rampaging along ...

Between this early incident and the subsequent one shown in March , there's a bit of a change in her attitudes towards the presence of our eight-legged friends. I wonder if her spider-swinging Adventure here ended up with the web tangled around her head and a very dizzy giant spider clinging to her ...

Ps. what i find amusing is that for a being that is at least 80000 years old, Tsillah's surprisingly, um.. "naive", i guess you could call it? What do we really know about Tsillah's age, though? We only have indirect hints and incidental information to make our guess out of. We know that she's Nudg...
