I'm joining the conversation WAY late, but...

This.Dave wrote:Glytchmeister: I think the answer to your question is "No, not all paranormals can take on human form." The day that Phix chewed out Monica and Shelly for breaking cover and doing "paranormal parkour" in public view, she referred to some paranormals who were unable to move freely among humanity. The implication I take from this, is that there are at least some paranormals who don't have the ability to take on a convincing human form, and for some reason can't use an effective spell / glamour / cloaking device.
A paranormal weighing, oh, a ton or so, who was unable to mass-shift, would have serious problems... even if a convincing light-illusion could be projected, his/her sheer bulk would make the masquerade very difficult to sustain in public.

I have Earl Grey tea and Irish breakfast tea and lapsang souchong tea, but none of this "real y tea". Sounds Spanish, and not very flavourful.GuySmiley wrote:Reali-what?!? ...Catawampus, I think the pun jar is looking for you. It just called me, but realized it had the wrong number. It sounded hungry.Catawampus wrote:I have Earl Grey tea and Irish breakfast tea and lapsang souchong tea, but none of this "real y tea". Actually, "real y tea" is very flavorful, but it leaves you a touch empty and tends to leaves a very bitter taste behind.Catawampus wrote:I have Earl Grey tea and Irish breakfast tea and lapsang souchong tea, but none of this "real y tea". Sounds Spanish, and not very flavourful.

Well, in truth, each batch of "real y tea" is a crapshoot. Some batches are sweet and incredibly satisfying, and other batches are so bitter that you want to toss them out after the first sip. Only those who truly appreciate the bitter and the sweet are encouraged to indulge in "real y tea."Mark N wrote:Actually, "real y tea" is very flavorful, but it leaves you a touch empty and tends to leaves a very bitter taste behind.Catawampus wrote:I have Earl Grey tea and Irish breakfast tea and lapsang souchong tea, but none of this "real y tea". Surreptitiously adding a shot or two of brandy to it tends to liven things up a bit.
Or adding a bit of Jin or Bud, if that's more to your taste.
It's not recommended to mix all three together, though.

Adding a good bit of Monica, or if not available, another full-bodied one, to your 'real y tea' certainly cheers you up
DO be careful though, as some are not 'aged' enough, and have to be 'set down' until they have matured properly....
(sends a cask-matured whisky to the punvault, merry xmas!

I avoid drinking "real y tea" as much as possible. There are much better flavors like "fan tea c".

Real y tea is necessary for properly steering the Heart of Gold using the Auxiliary Infinite Improbability Drive.

Nope. An atomic vector plotter and a source of Brownian Motion - real y tea preferred.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Ursa's will get along best with Nudge (especially in the "fair and just" department)Tenjen wrote:Cant wait to see the ursa twins hijinx for the future of the comic

Shape shifting is the ultimate answer to natural selection and survival of the fittest so, shape shifting is probably more a sign of an advanced race more than a power wielding one. There may be a paranormal debate going on about which is really more powerful, the fire power to nuke a planet into an ice age, or shape shifting ability to dodge the effect.
