Will there be more, or is that all there is to be?

Last one had a 2016 copyright on it, I'm going to say it was a limited run.

Paul dropped Patteon a while back, and he did the Medusa pages for it, so it probably ended when he did that.Opus the Poet wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 1:05 pm Last one had a 2016 copyright on it, I'm going to say it was a limited run.

Yep yep. AFAICT, it was a grand total of 37 strips.

I think Stheno needs some healing. On a somewhat related note, I watched a video about the gorgons, and it said Stheno had red snakes, and they would lie flat most of the time. The picture reflected this, but curiously one at the middle would curl forward a bit, much like what we see in the comic. Interestingly, though, apparently Euryale could stun people with a scream, and Stheno was apparently really aggressive. (I didn't see any mention of them having a stereotypical "southern" accent, though.)
Does the Wapsi version of Euryale have that ability?
EDIT: I'm imagining Euryale in bed with someone who is recovering from her stunning scream, looking quite embarrassed, only for them to say "worth it!"

The proportions of the Gorgon gals in this comic also somewhat match the more ancient versions I've seen. There was a 6th Century BC black-figure lekythos in a French library that had a scene of Perseus fleeing a beheaded Medusa and being chased by an irate Stheno and Euryale, and the Gorgons all had very narrow waists, wide shoulders and hips, wore short skirts and impractical stylish shoes. . .had faces like weird lions and a pair of wings (so not quite totally like the Wapsi versions). I don't remember the old versions being quite as impressive in the chest region, though.Alkarii wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 8:32 pm I think Stheno needs some healing. And Euryale's yell does seem to be enough to shock Monica.

Well, if it's powerful enough to have that effect on the Jaguar Girl and one of the Golem Girls, I don't wanna be in town when Euryale gets laid.
Has it ever been mentioned why she has a stereotypical "southern" accent? Specifically, reading her speech bubbles makes me hear an Old Southern (eastern Virginia down to Georgia) in my head.

If course she was shocked. She thought that Old Yeller was a modern tale.Catawampus wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 3:18 pm And Euryale's yell does seem to be enough to shock Monica.

I hear something like Mike Nesmith's West Texas accent.

Micheal Nesmith is from just up the road in Plano which is a suburb of Dallas. His Texas accent is real (Plano was a rural farm town back then) but not West Texas. That's a completely different and distinct accent from North Central Texas, which sadly has died out as the region became more suburban. Plano is now a "big city" these days.

"They" also call Mesquite a west Texas town, and it's on the other side of me from Plano. And the town of West is about 70 miles due South from where I live, so where outsiders consider the various geographical parts of Texas to lie compared to where they actually are is considerable off. As they say Texas is a whole 'nother country. You could put the country of France inside it and have Texas left over. The DFW Metroplex is roughly the size of the state of Massachusetts and about the same population. We be big.AnotherFairportfan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 9:00 am I recall a reference to it as "West Texas", but i guess that was a joke...

Re: Medusa's Story (Formerly Patreon Only) 2019-08-13
That reminds me of a joke, where a Texan was visiting France, on a guided tour, and every time the tour guide would show something to the group, the Texan would boast of how back home, they had the same thing either bigger, better, or all over the place... Like the Eiffel tower, for instance, where "we got tons of those, and we pull oil from the ground, with them", and so on.Opus the Poet wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 6:00 am"They" also call Mesquite a west Texas town, and it's on the other side of me from Plano. Somewhat aggravated, the tour guide decided to take the group to stand outside of a particular building, with ornate architecture, but without yet saying what it was...
The Texan, of course, immediately started boasting as to how they had one of those on every street corer...
The tour then then mentioned how that was an asylum...

Then there's the Texan visiting a farm in Massachusetts...
"How much land y'all workin'?"
"Forty acres."
"That all? My ranch, I can get in my truck and drive all day, and still not get to the other side of it."
"Yeah, I had a truck like that once."

Yep, Texas is so big that when I went to have lunch with an ex confined to a nursing home it was a 120 mile round trip, but because it was so short I just rode my bicycle. Every time I saw her, which was about 2 or 3 times a month. I started visiting her frequently after her doctor told me she showed marked improvement when I showed up. She died about a month after I broke my bike just as I was leaving to see her again, less than a mile from my house. That was in 2007, a bad year for me on my bike. I had anemia so bad that I got passed at the HHH in August by a little girl on a WalMart Huffy between the start and the first rest station. Then after I kicked that first trip out in November I broke the bike, then my ex died in December..

I cant recall my Texas joke right now 'I feel so Lonely' by the Police is blasting in the headphones as I type... Still-
- I recall traveling into and through (wait; the audio player just switched to 'Message in a Bottle'...) I recall Texas:
- As a pre-teen, on a road trip from California to Louisville, KY, we stopped overnight in the panhandle (we got one of those too, here in San Francisco) and it SNOWED. Granted this was just prior to Thanksgiving and it was Northern Texas and everything. still. Two foot high snowman in the morning w/ my Mom. (insert emotional recoil from 'can't deal right now, typing on the InterWebz'...)
- Later in life, Post-high School, I was in the car when (Moms again, a lot of my cross-continent travels resolve & revolve around her as a catalyst) we had a chance to run through Galveston right after a big storm. Everything was pretty mush still shut down and boarded up- but the 'beach' was littered, no, let say Mostly Composed of, Shells and Mollusk Bones. Galveston, to me, geographically, is Santa Cruz, CA writ large.
When you think you are looking at China across the Sea, you are actually looking Southwards...
Lastly is a half-forgotten joke re: Californians and Texans (and some other third party to push off against) where upon every raisin to a Californian was really (a something) but to the Texan it was a watermelon. I've got that backwards but there was a raisin in there somewhere.
Texicans eat raw onions, directly, at dinner.
One hand holding a fork, the other full of an Onion.
I seent it...
