And if she doesn't, Nadette will.
If Pickle gets involved, Cricket is not long for this world.

Don't think Atsali's together enough for that . . . It looks like she's in tears.
One thing Cricket isn't is an
Aloof Elven Princess(tm).

Worse could happen. Word could get to Monica. Honest mistakes, for honest reasons are one thing, public humiliation is another. Aaaand, someone is on probation, after some of that...

Cricket, being a Fae, AND a Princess, never had to be careful about what she said or did. Hence the reasons for her "probation".
The fact that the "Dummy" is the sister of a being that can quite literally end her like stepping on a bug seems to have slipped her mind. . .
That, and the fact that she is on probation and under the (not so) watchful eye of an immortal sub-titan/demon shepherd.
Actually, it is fairly common for people on probation to slip back into bad habits--especially if their probation officers don't make regular contact.

I recall some humorist who said that the proper way to chastise an obnoxious teen-ager was to hold him/her upside down by the ankles, and immerse him/her in a barrel of sour-pickle brine.
I wonder if Castela is strong enough to pull this off... it would be oddly appropriate.
Even if not, Calista could very well find herself walking around a corner, smack into a thicket of sharp brambles which grab her, pin her to the wall, and say "We-we-we need to talk. You were mean to my sister.
That's my job!"

Kids Castela's size don't exactly regard tormenting their siblings as being mean, per se, but as making older siblings pay attention to the younger.
The protectiveness will be there, however.

I must disagree here, when we were young kids i took control of the tv from my baby sister at the time about 4 years old. she applied a cast iron frying pan to my head and after i woke up she told me i had been mean to her so she was mean back. after careful consideration i decided watching captain kangaroo was a great idea after all.

Of course, this might be Calista's way of getting back at 'Sali for what happened with Devyn...

Cricket MAY have a good motive behind this. Namely to drive home the idea that it is STUPID to attack without thinking. That's kind of what she did, and look what happened. Of course, being Cricket, she's doing it in a way that gets people upset...

How long have you folks been out of high school? Don't overthink this. We would have ragged a friend mercilessly after such a bonehead move, and the better the friend, the worse the ragging. I would expect no less from a friend that values Atsali as much a Cricket does.

Well, Calista has successfully diverted some attention off of Atsali and Nadette's behaviour and onto her own instead. That's. . .something, I suppose.
Perhaps the noisy Cricket has a future working with the MiB?

But we would have mostly kept it quiet . . . the
threat of making a big deal about it was more effective than actually
making a big deal about it.
Of course, Cricket could be applying the one-excruciating-rip approach . . . it's
going to happen, so get it over with all at once.

I'm 59 and graduated high school in 1975, but the memories haven't completely faded. I also have a middle school daughter, so I'm being reminded of it again.

I don't know about you guys, but I see this and I see bullying. I don't think it's acceptable.

Yeah, I see it as bullying, too. I'd totally like to see someone knock her for a loop.
Just... POW! Right in the kisser!

I've been out of high school for less than five years.

There doesn't seem to have actually been anyone else around, so I'd see it as shock treatment.
