Apparently so...
... and I think we've just had confirmation that when the scientists built Castella's genome, they must have gotten some of the human DNA directly from Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli. What a little schemer!
In any case, we can probably determine the college's location quite accurately now. All the way from orbit. Just look for the rosy glow... that will be Atsali, blushing.

The college is in Tokyo. This could make for some interesting anime/manga references...lake_wrangler wrote:The college is in Tokyo???

Future daughter in law? Oh I love that so much~~<3
Re: Kyushu-Jangara 2017-09-12
yes, well, i am a bit confused about that. if it is daughter-in-law, then it is kath speaking, in this case, who is her mom? in case of nadette speaking, it could have been corporate-mom who told nadette about kyusho-jangara, which makes sense, but then it should be mom-in-law ...TheCollector wrote:Future daughter in law? Who is Kath's mom?
Right after Brandi was liberated from the Nu Gui, Atsali (who had just been force-fed all of the stored Etheitian culture and knowledge) said to Kath, "Oh, and the dreadlocks gal is kind of like your mom. More like one of six. That's kinda like that tall busty Borg on that one show I saw once. Kind of like you but you're way prettier."

Atsali refers to "Grandma Lily."

Cunning Pickle is cunning. With the introduction of a Asian Fae as Pickles boyfriend and the college being in Tokyo anyone care to be how long before we see other members of his family?
Dear, don’t bore him with trivia or burden him with your past mistakes. The happiest way to deal with a man is never to tell him anything he does not need to know. L. Long

And the addition of the Kitahara kozuko means the next iteration of JW's relationship chart will be a cork board covered with Pst-It notes.

Hey, I didn't say it was going to be EASY to keep that up.AmriloJim wrote:And the addition of the Kitahara kozuko means the next iteration of JW's relationship chart will be a cork board covered with Pst-It notes.
Heck, just making it into a database boggles the mind.

Well, that's a problem that the industry solved decades ago.jwhouk wrote:Hey, I didn't say it was going to be EASY to keep that up.AmriloJim wrote:And the addition of the Kitahara kozuko means the next iteration of JW's relationship chart will be a cork board covered with Pst-It notes.

It's a relational database.
Just think of it as a sequel to your current (graphical) model.
That would have left Kath holding the bag (more precisely, "carrying all three boxes of Atsali's stuff, rather than just two"). Nadette doesn't seem like the sort of young lady who would be so thoughtless towards her future mother-in-law.jeffepp wrote:Revelation 4: Nade didn't pretend to be Atsali's hat.
Actually, this may tell us that the college may have a very firm "human forms only" rule. Otherwise, Nadette could simply have morphed into one of her strong large-animal forms, and been bearin' the whole load herself.

Sorry, typo. The family in Japan is called kazoku.

A mathematician's answer.AmriloJim wrote:Sorry, typo. The family in Japan is called kazoku.
100% accurate and conveys nothing to me.
Apparently i lack a cultural referent.

And, since nobody else has said it, I will.
Tonkatsu ramen? Yummy!
Based on the reviews I've read, Lily's suggestion is an excellent one.
