Thanks guys! This keeps the forum nice and neat.
This is curious. Reg doesn't smell like a Fae when he's in bug form; if he did Castela would have noticed. Also, is he deliberately shifting back and forth - in which case he's taking a BIG risk right then - or is he out of control because of that potion she gave him?
At least she's got clothes on. If he'd fallen on her when they were both naked, reflexively she might have punched him into low earth orbit.
Are the transformations controlled, or without his saying so?
If uncontrolled, what causes the transformations?
If controlled, why hasn't he transformed before? Why do it in such awkward-causing situations?
If against his will, who made him that way and why? Did someone want to keep an eye on Castela?
Is whatever was used to transform him wearing out, or is he overpowering it, somehow?
How long will it take Castela to figure this out?
How many more times will she inflict pain to Reginald?
Between her potion and his concussion, I think we can safely rule out deliberate changes. Regarding 'shove'... I have used less force to weld on an anvil. Were this real life, that blow would have been mortal and his face unrecognizable even to species. I am pretty sure by now that tumbleweed has figured out the score... now the questions are
1) does he have enough face left to talk his way out of it?
2) will somebody hearing the crash intervene?
3) are we going to see a dead fey splattered all over the place?

She may have figured it out now but if she ever comments on Stalli being dense that is really gonna be the pot calling the kettle black.
Dear, don’t bore him with trivia or burden him with your past mistakes. The happiest way to deal with a man is never to tell him anything he does not need to know. L. Long
To be fair, we saw more of the situation than she did. Reg's transformations had so far occurred when she wasn't looking, and those transformations don't seem to be noisy. Also, the swirling magic that accompanies those transformations may not even produce a lot of light.
