Most series would have left us languishing while teasing us with weeks of "Did they or not?" innuendo that would constantly be defused until the final harmless reveal that nothing happened.

I'd like to thank Paul for immediately revealing "Yeah, they totally did and it was HOT" the very next day! That pretty much made my day <3

Thinking of Oscar, have we seen him since the last time we saw Kath hit the beach?

Honestly, going from 'really creepy and antisocial nerd whose high point is having a good butt day and finding a new spider to add to her collection' to 'ex-air force special forces badass that makes Laura Croft look like a crumpet-eating social flower' in a dozen strips was a FAR more drastic shift of character than this.
I dunno, I mean Paul gave her a name. Don't know why if she wasn't gonna be appearing more often.

Paul has given a name to several characters that have been introduced and disappear. So have I and numerous other authors. Had ideas at the time but didn't follow up on them... or just changed my mind. It happens. Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing more of her.

I leave minor characters lying around because I have ideas about how they might reappear later, adding more continuity to the series. Maybe what I have in mind will eventually happen, maybe something else will happen, maybe they'll never appear again, maybe someone will turn them into more-important characters.

As for continuity, we have the option of playing with the timeline, at least within a certain range.

Guess we know who talked her into it now huh? :3
Yeah. I just noticed - this looks like it must be some time ago; that looks like Katherine's old hair style to me, and where's that big white lock on the left side (which is the profile we're looking at)?
