He ran for President of the United States in 1968, 1972, 1980, 1988, 1992, and 1996. I think he'd run again--but he died in 1997. Of course, were he buried in Chicago (or various other similar locales) he could still vote in elections, by proxy as it were--but he'd have a hard time qualifying to run.

My management class (Eleven college boys and me) decided that the best way to choose who wins an election should be to line up the candidates at beer pong tables. Winner take office.
