I kept looking, trying to figure out why I didn't like the new look... I knew that the long hair complimented her structure, in general, but I couldn't pinpoint what was bugging me...
Then it hit me: her neck really sticks out, now...
(I'm sure there's more reasons why it bugs me, but that's a big one, right there...)

That can be a problem when you've got a set body model. You're working Accents vs Structure issues, and changing an accent can really highlight a structural point. Many Wapsonians have very long necks, and so...lake_wrangler wrote:I kept looking, trying to figure out why I didn't like the new look... Yeah, Birdie has a really long neck, she's been drawn that way from the beginning. Her hair will grow back, eventually.

That look on Nadette's Face is just adorable... Adoring and Adorable at the same time...
She'll have plenty of time to regret it... hair only grows about an eighth of an inch a month I think... The good part is that as it grows out, she'll be able to plan her next style.

You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Wiki says it's about half an inch a month, which is a pretty good match for how frequently my wife says "You're looking shaggy again. You need a haircut."DilyV wrote:That look on Nadette's Face is just adorable... Adoring and Adorable at the same time...

Even at that rate, it'd take Atsali a couple of years to get her hair length back to anywhere near where it was before she went in to be shorn.

To be honest, Sarge and unmentionables are not two things I want in the same county, never mind in hearing distance...Alkarii wrote:Oh, come oooonnnn... What does Wikipedia have to say about the hair growth rates of siren/incubus hybrids? Some of their body growth rates seem to be a tad different from those of the typical human.Dave wrote:Wiki says it's about half an inch a month, which is a pretty good match for how frequently my wife says "You're looking shaggy again. At least she seems to have already well snared Nadette, so I suppose that she doesn't really need the mating crest any longer.

Al, thank you ever so much. Have you never heard the cautionary statement "There are things which simply cannot be un-imagined"?Just Old Al wrote:To be honest, Sarge and unmentionables are not two things I want in the same county, never mind in hearing distance...
I can only hope that the memeworm vaccination I had last year is still effective.
Wiki is strangely silent on the subject.Catawampus wrote:What does Wikipedia have to say about the hair growth rates of siren/incubus hybrids? Some of their body growth rates seem to be a tad different from those of the typical human.

Tch, obviously yet another example of anti-siren biases.Dave wrote:Wiki is strangely silent on the subject.
Hmmm, let's just hope that Atsali's hair didn't serve a purpose similar to that of the hairlike growths on the family Sirenidae. She could end up passing out and terrifying Nadette yet again.

You could try something more subtle. Like, my sister's favorite shirt:Just Old Al wrote:Akasha wrote:indeed, it makes the head look smaller ... hmm ... wait ... perhaps i should shave my head, if it makes them look bigger .... hmmmmmmmmmOpus the Poet wrote:Without the visual mass on her back her boobs look bigger. EEEEEEyahhh...no. Not a good idea.

That's puzzling. My hair hasn't been shorn since 1973, and it's still disappearing.Dave wrote:Wiki says it's about half an inch a month, which is a pretty good match for how frequently my wife says "You're looking shaggy again. A lot of mine has apparently gone into hiding over the years, and is no longer available to be shorn.Typeminer wrote:That's puzzling. I have often made extra $$$ by 'doing' Mark Twain on stage. I've not lost any hair, so I would stage white my hair and paste on the eyebrows and moustache.
I require much less stage white these days...

I decided that that was not a gig for me.

The fancier outfits come with just two sets of pants, but they're specially made: inner lining of Kevlar and Nomex and reflective aluminum, middle layer of encapsulated sodium powder, outer layer of bright-red cloth.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Friend who did that once told me that those Santa suits come with three pairs of pants.

If/when the kiddies pee on you, the whole setup catches fire. You get to play both Santa and Satan in the same gig, and charge double.
