And, methinks, a bit of a case of jealousy... one to which she's probably not going to admit.

Ya think she noticed that her intervention backfired? She just gifted Timothy with an unexpected Scarlet-colored boob faceplant.

Marshmallow Hell!

Well, not exactly - but pretty much the same result as far as Timothy is concerned.

(He looks a little more mature here...)

MAJOR case of jealousy . . .

And a certain amount of embarrassment now . . .

And, one suspects, some more razzing from big sis coming up . . .

OTOH, TImmy seems to be maintaining eye contact this time, despite Scarlet's position . . . most unusual for a boy that age.

I would say something about Castela getting bit by the Green-eyed Monster, then I though "Who could tell one way or the other, she's a plant." :ugeek:

Unusual, yes. Difficult, probably. Impossible, no.

Thankfully, that was the age that I really started focusing on people's faces to try to get feedback for social interactions (I'm an Aspie).

So, is Scarlet a cat based para, or a fox based para?
(Zero double ententre. That's an honest question. )

Well, it did turn into Direct Eye Contact, so it might have worked. Or, he might have two black eyes. (Still, totally worth it.)

I think we can rule out cats, that tail doesn't look like any cat I know of. Now, fox is a strong possibility given the shape.

I'd like to see her in colour.

Probably fox, maybe skunk.

Fox, I think . . . a skunk would have a stripe down the center of her tail, not a line of apparent color change across the tail. And the name Scarlet would fit with that. (I wonder if she has a sibling named Blue or Azure . . .)

Though it seems like a few other animals might have a tail-tip of a different color . . .

I'm willing to give Paul some Artistic License re: differing one animal ear from another, but it wouldn't hurt to dial it in either... Just say'n.

Kid's gonna grow up with a complex.

Wonder if Scarlett's family name is "Scragg"?
