Welcome to the forums! I hope so too!

Feel free to add your thoughts in the daily threads or the General Wapsi discussions, and if you have anything not really related to Wapsi you want to say, head down to the pub room or the various other rooms below that.
You are more than welcome to peruse the fan art section and read through the fanfic universe some of us have set up, and maybe even try your hand at some drawing or writing?
At the bottom you'll find a section centered on Yana Nimkova, the closest IRL analog to Monica you're likely to ever find. It was originally set up as a AMA sort of situation, but she's hit some particularly rough patches, so we're kinda just going with the flow there.

Be yourself, don't be afraid to speak your piece, and have fun! ^_^

I actually have a fanfic in works. It's the main reason I decided to stop sitting on the sidelines and join the forum. Soon as I finished tweeking the grammar issues im gonna post it. Keep an eye out for "Two Screws shy of a Picnic Basket" and tell me what you think.

Oh dear I did not realize this was a challenge.
But do not fret, for I will stand
With ink and quill both close at hand
That I might scribe a fantasy,
Expand upon reality
Revealing ones duality
And decend into depravity
Yet speak of stories known be true
A fight with Demons housed in you.

Challenge accepted? Hope I don't make any enemies

Welp, I'm outclassed. I can't make poetry on the spot like that.

And it's not really a challenge... I think... Ok, maybe a little, but that's due to a conflict between characters and a slightly tangled plotline, but whatever.

As long as you're halfway decent, you won't make enemies.

Us writers are here at the forum
'cause our stories need someplace to store 'em
with prose and with verse
our own universe
as dictated by our own quorum

And here in our world you might find
all creatures both cruel and benign
like Centaurs and Fey
Bad golems (OY VEY!)
and elves of the darkened skin kind

So wander around and peruse
and join in whenever you choose
the tales being told
don't fit any mold
but they're pretty much bound to amuse

I speak fluent Limrick-

In limerick? No I cannot converse My rhyming is far too perverse
But with a couplet or two I'm quite skilled, It's true.
although to be fare I've left readers quite scared
and most others are worse for the wear
for if you must know, my words from below
come from the blackest deep part of my soul
and when they hit page, the ink stained with rage
can rank right up next to Poe.
I would eat your soul, but I'd prefer to keep my lunch down.

Poe? Poe, did you say? The man who showed up at a duel too drunk to stand, leave alone shoot?

Allow me... (Hem, hem)

Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven",

In Limerick
by Gregory F. (the Od Sgt.) Howard

"A man in a cold and dark room,
Saw an ebony vision of gloom-
when asked of Lenore,
it croaked 'Nevermore'

..... so he beat it to death with a broom!

.... Thank You....

OK, I dunno. I understand that there's a family of Louisiana expats living in Ireland running a very popular chain of restaurants. These days you can get a perfectly fine po'boy in Limerick. They'll probably offer you a local beer, brewed in the Derry air, but we need not discuss that.
