Hurting someone 2016-05-13 May 2016

Post by FreeFlier »

Hmmmm . . . seems like Nadette is really worried.

Now are the two "hormonal dingdongs" going to pay attention and talk Nadette down . . . or will Devyn react in kind? And Abbey should have some power of her own . . .

It would be ironic if Atsali had to step in and stop the fighting!

That would be a bit of a hairy situation . . . downright unbearable.

And I'd say Nadette definitely has their attention . . .

I think that answers the questions of what an Ursamorph's base form is like... (scarrrryyy)

Meanwhile, I'm going to wager that those two went derp on purpose to make a point to Nadette.

Point . . . being that Atsali's not the only one that has to worry about hurting someone, of course.

So are the rising feet jolted off the ground, jumping, or taking flight?

Three thinks as long as he is not involved in such diversionary they are a great idea. Three will be taking this opportunity to make a strategic advance to the rear

That bear is laying out the bare facts here. If the derp duo dont pay attention things could get real grizzly fast. That does have to be the biggest care bear i ever saw but care bear does care. ( Drops one paddington bear in the pun jar.

You're short about fifty... that was a pretty complex pun there...

And at least 500 lbs from the looks of it. That is not a bear you'd want to mess with.

Anybody have any guesses as to the specific species? I'm going with North American grizzly.

Technically there are only two species of bears in North America: brown and black. There are several subspecies of each species, though.

(No, I didn't forget polar bears. They are a subspecies of brown bear. Another subspecies of brown bear - that is actually brown in color - appears to be primarily descended from polar bears.)

Since this is a B&W comic page, color is an unreliable indicator. Profile's better, and that hump on the shoulders looks more like a brown bear profile - unfortunately, any of several subspecies. The size looks quite large, like a kodiak or some other coastal variety, but I thought I remembered something which said or implied that Nadette and Berdine are from Montana or somewhere near it; that would argue for grizzly. And I don't necessarily trust hand-drawings to get the scale right on what is SUPPOSED to be a big scary monstrous thing.
