Well, paranormal traits seem to be genetic. So she might have had some sort of genetic disorder related to her longevity gene.

The six-year-old in question would probably disagree with you on that, though.

Euryale:Shelly::Shelly:Monica
(I don't know if that system was specific to my grade school or not, but the translation is "Euryale is to Shelly as Shelly is to Monica."

Wow. Blast from the past. I haven't seen the double-colon in... Over a decade. I'd better stop, I'm making myself feel old.)

It's a pretty good series overall. The Guinea Pig episode also discusses language (including the origins of the word “orange"). Another good one on word weirdness is the Misnomers episode.

Vsauce is ADD distilled into video form.

I once used a vsauce video to explain what it's like having AD(H)D... After the video ended, I simply said "Welcome to my brain."

They just looked at me like
He's mister GlytchMeister, he's mister code
He's mister exploiter, he's mister ones and zeros
They call me GlytchMeister, whatever I touch
Starts to glitch in my clutch!
I'm too much!

(Seriously, Glytch, I think you'd love a lot of that strip, particularly the parts featuring the squirrels.)

That's actually a damn good idea. Though, compound that with the tagential logic leaps slightly different wiring (high-functioning autism) can allow for, and you get my brain.

Incidentally, are you reading Little Victory or Battle Bunnies, Warrl?

Nope. Couldn't find Little Victory as a webcomic. Didn't care for Battle Bunnies.

Take both of those, and add OCD on crack for limited subject matter(say painstakingly drawing in scales or chain mail for example), toss in a handful of record skips for the repetitive data dumps, and a pinch of dynamic opposing SAD(I get depressed when the Spring sunshine and daisies arrive, but love the dreary Autumnal chill, barren trees, and crisp, frozen white blankets), and you have my brain.

Oh, and try having a ten year old just like that, while having to deal with all of this...

Welcome to my Nightmare.

Though my son is actually the only bright spot in all of that.
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

Aphyon chu kissa whol l'jaed.
