She must be a power plant. We already knew that she was a bouncy little dynamo.

Fire will make many types of trees explode. Extreme cold will do the same, though usually less violently. So, is this Castela acting all cool and calculating, or in the heat of the moment?

Half of my toys were explosives. The trick was keeping them from blowing up before they were supposed to.

bonus X-Files level of thinking theory: You know when Calista said Castela was a human/Blackthorn hybrid? Maybe that's not quite the full truth.
If that was an accidental use of magic, which other paranormal species has been shown to have accidental use of magic occur in their children?
What if .... Castela is actually a human/Blackthorn/Fae hybrid?

A human/blackthorn hybrid would be the easiest for a human research team to create, simply given the easy availability of the genetic material. If Castela has some
other genes in her, such as fae, that raises a question: where did the researchers get the genetic material? I suppose that it all could be a part of either
Bia's attempts to make an immortal heir or the nu gui's plans to create a mortal descendant. Also, it seems that certain types of paranormals haven't exactly been all that shy about sharing their genes by a more natural method.
A fae crossbreed might make a good bit of sense, though, in Castela's whole situation of resistance to and power over fae. I wonder if Atsali and Castela will be finding a third sister, in a certain rambunctious young fae gal. . .which might technically make Castela a fae princess, and she's always wanted to be a princess!

What the <bleep> has Pickle been watching that she comes up with scenarios like THAT? My niece, when she was little, did Sailor Moon and products of her own imagination. Zombies eating soldiers? And driving tanks???
She has a livid imagination.
I just like the fact that she wears skirts and also plays with toy tanks. I suppose that a Whatsit is naturally resistant to pigeon-holing.
