Atsali maybe should change her name to Dabbler?

Rock Strata, water way? I wonder if there are layers of mica there connected with the waterway. that might result in one the areas where it is possible to talk withe the dead? Like around the temple of the Jaguar.

Oh, Tsillah. . . .

Someone remind me why you have been placed into any sort of position that resembles authority?

(My guess: Nepotism.)

Well, given the height difference, it makes it that much harder to keep making eye contact, I guess...

The shadows may be after images imprinted on crystals by the radiation. As for how she got into a position of authority that's a good question however in her defense that chest is very distracting for sure

That has to be one of the most honest statements I have ever seen from Wapsi Square.

I want to call Tsillah a total ditz... but I have to confess... yea, I would be hypnotized by those.. especially with them staring at me like that... regardless...

THESE two are masters of SHADOW? Yet, there are shadows they know not? Mother dearest is still in full freak, Daughter matching wits with someone else's mammary glands (and loosing), Nadette being schmooshed and Atsali taking charge...? Get my thermals, HELL has frozen over- Atsali has more wit going on than the rest of the room combined!

(a) She is either hard to kill or *VERY* hard to kill
(b) She is capable of causing severe damage/injury and/or destruction/death to most things in the Wapsiverse

*if* we use Phix as a guide, in Waspivers paranormal bureaucracies, (a)+(b) = you can kill and devour someone at your place of work, or just rip someone's face off (sorry, not providing links :() and keep your job. Anyone who complains about this can be subjected to (b)

Yes, the Library is probably a special kind of paranormal bureaucracy, but in those two examples I gave, the reaction of paranormals those used to 'the system' seems to have been "So what?")

I suspect Tsillah (and Thymbris) both meet the requirements for (a), and also (b) when motivated.

Survive when others don't, defeat things others couldn't = promotion up the ladder of responsibility

ps: Atsali has shown that when she isn't thinking she is quite capable of causing injury .... survive this mission, and the next few and Atsali might be climbing the MIB ladder of responsibility :)

IIIIIIII don't think she was trying. It seems that, at one point it was mentioned that she, er, plays on the same team as Nad.

Mentioned in-comic, or on the forum? I don't recall seeing anything in-comic that would imply lead me to such a conclusion.

Off topic: Is the site responding slower than a Greenland shark for everyone else?

I don't know... Is that slower than molasses would be in January? If so then yes...

Then again, even if the molasses were slower than the sharks, the result would be the same: the site would still be slower than the shark...

If anyone hasn't yet seen the recent film 'Lucy' with Scarlett Johansson, I recommend it.
(It's not hardly factual w/ the Science <---[note capital...] but it's what might be called a 'fun romp' in movie going parlance.)

Germain to the current entry, as the main protagonist stomps around applying world domination in a very personal way,Image

she has quite a few moments of enforcing 'Hypnotization' shall we say.

And they aren't hardly Atsali-size...
