Nudge was occupying the same body, and may have even been in conversations, alongside Blackwing.
Nudge also was credited for reanimating Tina 2.0, though the other demons didn't yet know who she was.
So either Nudge knows who Blackwing is, or Blackwing was able to hide her identity from Nudge.

Dude, Tina's dead. It's a bummer, but she died years ago, in Mexico City. She lived in Miami, she had a degree in psychology, her family life was troubled - and she's dead. The fact that her body is walking around making coffee in Minneapolis should not fool you into thinking we've ever met the original Tina Rosario Aldaco Guzman.zachariah wrote: If it was then where did the soul go? It did not go back to Tina, or did it?

...Connie is the combination of two (or more?) souls.
One of them is Shelly. Another of them... is TINA.

From what I recall of that discussion it was Shelly and Monica's souls that were blocked from leaving. Tina's was supposed to but there was a miscommunication. I need to go back and review all those sections. The information is released in sections and the stories are conflicting as to who's demons did what.

I'm pretty sure Shelly's soul is still singularly Shelly's. There was an implication that Tina's soul is somehow mixed in with Connie but not confirmed.jwhouk wrote:...Connie is the combination of two (or more?) souls.

As good as confirmed and Phix had a hand in it as well. What has not been confirmed is was she a psychologist in this incarnation. I can't remember when or who but some demon said that she was something like "that drug kingpins loopy daughter". This incarnation she could have been a typical debutant and in the others her father was not a drug lord. But theses are questions yet to be answered by on high.Timotheus wrote:I'm pretty sure Shelly's soul is still singularly Shelly's. I was reminded of Christopher Walken as Gabriel in The Prophecy. He was able to put someone to sleep by brushing a hand over their face/head and saying "Sshh." That creeped me out a bit, for some reason.Julie wrote:Yeah...this page just made Tina a new kind of creepy for me. Not sure I can clearly articulate why...though I know it doesn't help at all that I heard her say "Sleeeep!" in creepy-old-fashioned-stage-performing-hypnotist voice, but that's not the entirety of what made my skin crawl a bit today.I can only hope that things turn out well.

Also, this one lays groundwork for a lot of plot, and Tina's clipping wall shows up once or twice, and Jin confirms the rat story.

Connie is Shelly's demons plus Tina's soul, as i understand it.Timotheus wrote:I'm pretty sure Shelly's soul is still singularly Shelly's. There was an implication that Tina's soul is somehow mixed in with Connie but not confirmed.jwhouk wrote:...Connie is the combination of two (or more?) souls.

Mixed well, stirred together and set in the refrigerator (or a nearby forest) overnight.

Re: Thank Me Later 2013-09-11
I thought that M was a glyph reader because she was trained by Mayhuel (masquerading as the ghost of M's great? grandmother).zachariah wrote:Interesting points. But this one a bit further back raises a point. http://wapsisquare.com/comic/sink-in/.
The demons were blocking the soul doorways to prevent Monica's soul from escaping and they did. It was that event that made Monica into a glyph reader. But it is also implied that Tina's doorway was blocked as well. If it was then where did the soul go? It did not go back to Tina, or did it? Nudge joined the group at some point and got them up and moving at the morgue but Tina's soul may have been there as well. Maybe it was outside the body long enough to forget who it was, or was unable to regain control. We don't know her state of mind but it was bad enough that the demons could cause the car to hit the bus. If Tina's soul was roaming free long enough it could have transformed into something else. Maybe Black Wing? Maybe something else. But all we can really say is we do not know what happened to Tina;s soul but it did not take the doorway.

I also think that in the pages you've linked, Shelly suggests that Tina's soul merged with Shelly's demons and that's how Connie was formed (as was pointed out by Timotheus and FPF...and more importantly, by Paul).

And see that life is beautiful."

Re: Thank Me Later 2013-09-11
Shelly's demons made Connie, yes. While it's been suggested many times, I don't remember any actual evidence for Tina's soul in there. Connie showed no particular interest in Tina 2.1, either.Julie wrote:I also think that in the pages you've linked, Shelly suggests that Tina's soul merged with Shelly's demons and that's how Connie was formed (as was pointed out by Timotheus and FPF...and more importantly, by Paul).

Well, would you care much for her if you a.) hated your demons and b.) wanted to be someone else, too?

That Tina's soul was mixed with her demons to make Connie was Shelly's conclusion that Connie couldn't (or wouldn't) deny. But there has been no further evidence or discussion on it either. http://wapsisquare.com/comic/not-a-them/
Still, on the occasions when Tina has spent the night inside Shelly with "the scary little girl in her boiler room" http://wapsisquare.com/comic/poitlogistics/ and encountered Connie outside of Shelly there has been no indication of recognition or affinity between them, which you would think would happen from entities formerly so closely associated together.
Shelly has had an interesting dream combining Tina and Connie.

Tina and Monica's accidents in Mexico were joined by Brandi not Jin, resulting in confusion over demon assignments.
