Own it, or pwned?
Castela doesn't seem particularly reassured, for some reason . . .

Never underestimate the power of a savvy Mom!
No blaming. No punishment. No escape.
Probably no repetition, either.

Parenting Level: EXPERT Achieved!
Way to go Kath! Leave them nowhere to go but to the truth!
I was thinking about how far Kath has come since we first saw her in the strip... amazing transformation.
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Yes, if you'd say that
this character was the same, wonderful, all-knowing mom as shown in today's strip, you'd be laughed out of the room.

Does paul have a tumblr? I'd love to tag this under "parenting tips", but I don't want to repost.

You know, I haven't seen the fish in awhile. I wonder what he makes of all these changes, they can live for a long time.

And when they get to the restaurant they'll be greeted by a fish chorus - salmon chanting "Evening"...
okay I'll clam up now.

Hmm.
Castela. Created to be a weapon against the fae.
Calista. Fae princess.
Very similar names.
Both told to "own" their mistakes by authority figures they respect.
Calista's mother was part of the MiB action team that arrived too late to save Atsali's mother from a raid ordered by the people involved in creating Castela.
Now they all three attend the same school.
Paul loves to load up multiple Chekhov's Howitzers at once on varying time-delay settings.
Hmm.
