My money is on it being a windup, but it's Thursday, so that's it for four days.
On the bright side it's a time locked story line with only two weeks to play out.

Any responsible pot head wouldn't be leaving their bong anywhere for it to get underfoot.

Unless you mean the bong is so big a person's foot will fit inside, but those are pretty expensive.
