Most excellent work, Sir! As lost as I can get in coloring, I don't know that I'd have the patience for what you do.shadowinthelight wrote:Finally done. Watch on Youtube here. (everything actually scrolls smoothly in the original, YT always screws things up)
And yes, ALL the drawing was done in MS Paint.
But it's making me hungry for a Wapsi Square game...

If anyone else got as much of a chuckle from that as I did, then I'm happy to take credit.

shadowinthelighI really liked your Youtube video game deal! Thanks for showing us!!! I'd actually have liked it finished so we know that they were okay, but I'll take what I can get! Thumbs up!shadowinthelight wrote:Finally done. Watch on Youtube here. (everything actually scrolls smoothly in the original, YT always screws things up)

All of a sudden I'm imagining Monica, Shelly and Amanda dressed up as the Ghostbusters.

Re: Fan Art
Thanks a lot, everyone. It was a learning experience* and I definitely want to do more animation but not going to try anything that ambitious until after the new year when the plant shuts down for Christmas break. These 10 hour shifts, for someone like me who has never worked on an assembly line, are a killer. I'm very glad when we go back in January we'll go to regular 8 hour shifts.
*Wierd fact, MonkeyJam has a pathetically small limit of 1637 frames in a single animation. The main video before before the credits roll just happened to total 1633 frames before padding it with black frames at the end. (credits was 1129)

Re: Fan Art
Very funny. The last panel is perfect for a variety of responses. My hands are still hurting too much getting used to the job. I'm not even trying to do anything art related right now.

I couldn't let J-Wonk have all the fun. My hands are still horrendously swollen but my right one is functioning just enough to work my trackball.

Horribly swollen? What kind of job did you take? I've had some odd jobs, but nothing that left me 'horribly swollen'.

Working on the line in the GM assembly plant in Arlington (Tahoes, Suburbans, Escalades...). Everyone says it takes if a few weeks if not a couple of months for your body to adjust, especially if you have never done that kind of work before.
