Welp... funny story about that. We did grab a couple down from the tree, and cut them up to see if they were still good.

My wife swears she still can taste the grapefruit, and she sampled it about 6 hours ago.

If you look in the background of the photo I added, you'll see that there's an orange tree in the back as well - but the thing's rather withered and the fruit on the branches look like prunes instead of oranges.
