New post
I just thought this category might be feeling neglected and lonely with no new posts since Monday...

Re: New post
And how does this post feel about where it wants to go, what it wants to do in life? Does this new post feel it can adequately fill its role as first post since last Monday? How will the parent sub-forum feel about this new entry? Will it welcome it with open arms, or will it scorn it for being aimless, so far?
Tune in next time, to find out...

Re: New post
And does it take any inspiration from some of the old posts? How about those with rails attached to them? Does it envy them, or mutter something about "don't fence me in?"

It keeps its temper, just barely... counting off "One fent, two fents, three fentses..." to dispel the post traumatic stress.Atomic wrote:And does it take any inspiration from some of the old posts? It tries really hard not to go off the rails... it knows that anger is out of style.

I'll grab some bowls and spoons. Would you prefer whole, 2%, skim, or almond?Dave wrote:That's the magazine that specializes in running post serials, right?Hansontoons wrote:No, but it was a Saturday evening post.

That's also the magazine that claimed some founding link to Ben Franklin. And he was an early post master, y'know.

Oh come on!.. You know kids these days, they never listen to their elders to get the benefit of their "wisdom of the ages"... they are doomed to repost the past mistakes over and over again.Atomic wrote:And does it take any inspiration from some of the old posts? That was what caused the split between the Ents and the Elves, back in the First Age of Middle-Earth. The elder just wouldn't listen to the eldar.scantrontb wrote:Oh come on!.. Well if you don't like it, no one's stopping you from getting up and leafing... It's not like you've taken root, or anything...Hansontoons wrote:I think I'll just sit here and pine for some better banter.
Re: New post
Well, if you're going to be sitting around and singing traditional American songs like "Don't Fence Me In", I suppose I can sing one in honor of American fences and hedgerows:
♫ Osage can you see.... ♫
♫ Osage can you see.... ♫
