Well, it's nice to see this didn't turn out to be a forever dangling plot thread. A healthy dose of resolution is always nice, in a story.

Or her perceptions of sex are different than the norm. Like Atsali's.

We don't know who - or what - her father is/was. He may be of a different enough species that her biology is very strange.

She may not have a father . . . IIRC, not all of the nymphs did.

I dont believe he was saying she was a nymph, just using that as an example. As for her father being a different species, my copy of Biology of the Gods must have gotten lost so i cant be sure but given they can be male, female or animal as the mood strikes i would guess not being interested in sex at all would not be a major stretch.

I believe that it was mentioned that Persephone is her grandmother. Which makes Poseidon at the very least both her great-granduncle (if such a term exists) and her granduncle according to classical traditions, and possibly even just her uncle given the way things seemed to go on Olympus.

Hmm. Suddenly it occurs to me that Devyn is related to Justin. Poseidon's father Cronus had a brother, Iapetus. Iapetus is Justins' father.

Unless, as others have suggested, she's s late bloomer. Psychological and physiological puberty might hit her as suddenly as it did Atsali.

And, possibly, at a less convenient time. Possibly at 2:27 PM on a Thursday, just as she's presenting a verbal research report to her Para History class on the social customs of paras in Azerbaijan in the 1800s.
