No he didn't and I agree with Tepoz on this one.

You could at least humor me and change the Subject line...

That was my thought, too... that her face was drawn by a different Pablo, today...

As a professional driver, I can verify what Tepoz says is 100%. Then again, there are lots of folks who just shouldn't be allowed to drive.

EDIT: And before anyone makes any 'female driver' jokes, it seems to me that more of the particularly dangerous drivers happen to be male.

it might depend on your place of living, but indeed, where i live, women make up more of the small/light accidents, with dents and bumps and broken headlights and stuff. males are usually responsible for the, in numbers less, but in casualties far higher, accidents. ( in my case, i haven't been responsible for either, yet, fortunately, but having a distance sensor for parking, sure makes it much easier for me ( ok, it is a large car, and the visibility out the back is not good anyway, so it is recommended )

Yea i have to agree, there are a lot of people that should never have a drivers license. I would also question letting really old people drive as well. The family calls every time my step mom gets behind the wheel.

Perhaps it's just that Priuses are out to get us. They can be pretty sneaky at times, what with those super-quiet motors and all.

In my observation, men are more likely to be agressive.

Simple inattention and/or stupidity seems to be about equal.

Someone I work with was nearly killed a couple of weeks ago when a driver stopped at a stoplight decided to make a right turn from the left-turn-only lane with no warning. The offending driver was stopped for the red light in the left-turn lane, and suddenly spun the wheels hard right and took off as the coworker was going past.

(The coworker was going straight, and the straight-through lane is the one next to the left turn lane.)

Fortunately, my coworker wasn't seriously hurt. "I like plum purple . . . but not on a body part!"

The offending driver was arrested, so the cops found something, though we don't know what.

Could be, though the turn doesn't indicate that level of stupid.

I've been saying this since before I got my current job, but people should be required to pass an eye exam, and a multiple choice refresher test before they can get their license renewed. Both would be done at the DMV. Failing the eye exam gets them an appointment with the optometrist and corrective lenses required. If they score less than 90% on the multiple choice, they have to pass a drive-along test. If they get less than an 85% on that, they don't get their license renewed and are required to take a refresher driver's ed course. If they pass the refresher course, they can get their DL renewed.
If they fail it, they have to go through a full-on driver's ed course before their license is reinstated. They get two chances with that. If they fail both times, their license is revoked and they have to wait a year to try again. This 2nd part I added after working my job for a few months.

Apparently, the paradigm in Japan has shifted, and Connie was too busy to notice.

People just don't stop for ghoulish monsters any more, unless the monsters show up on the Pokémon Go screen. Connie was there "for reals" but didn't bother to project her image into the virtual world on-screen, and so the driver never saw her.

A pity, really. She probably would qualify as a Legendary Roaming Pokémon, and have been worth quite a lot of stardust if captured.

You know, just this weekend, the Journal de Montréal's* headline was that hit and run cases doubled in the last 10 years (article in French only.)

Difference between a drunk and a stoner at a stop sign-

Drunk blows right through it.

Stoner stops and waits for it to change to green.

In this state, you do get your eyes checked every time.

The examiner can also required you to take a driving test if he wants, and you have no appeal.

I wish Alabama had something along those lines. All you have to do here is pay the money and get the picture took.
