I wonder if this tire ad is about Connie.

(I recommend being alone when you watch it, unless you like people hearing you scream like a girl or seeing you fall out of your chair.)

When she's tired of scaring drivers, she wets her hair, lets it drape over her face, and crawls out of video screens.

Unless he means Devizes, but that's admittedly unlikely.

Probably, but not necessarily. Tepoz might just be referring to his living on some land that somebody left to him in their will. He's been around for long enough that he might have done somebody a really good deed, and they were grateful enough to leave him a bequest.

The suggested ghost video that played after that ad was really bad, as in I could see the fake parts bad.

Personally, I do the opposite: when I catch a new comic, and see no thread for it, I grab the link and make a first post with only the link. I then go back to the comic, read it, and add an appropriate comment to my first post...

Apparently Japan will be doing a Freddy VS Jason type thing with the ghost ladies from The Ring and The Grudge.

That's good, yes. I didn't scream; mainly because I was too paralyzed with shock. Can anyone read the message she's holding up? I can get the hiragana, but the kanji defeats me - as usual - and I don't want to have to drag out my dictionaries or use an on-line look-up to figure it out.

I was going to mention that. Maybe they hired her to do the special effects. If Connie crawled out of my video screen I think it would induce cardiac arrest.

I do the same as LW when starting a thread, that's why the URL was on my clipboard, I figured you might have been on a mobile or other device that requires much effort to do a simple cut/paste.
