No, she's completely encased HER shadow. The shadow is inside; The "curtain" is Tsillah.Dave11 wrote:Wait, so she's completely encased in her own shadow? The mind, it boggles.
Hades/Pluto can't really be called death. Both of them are the rulers of the underworld. Charon ferries those that have died to the underworld. Much like the more "Modern" versions of Death-The Grim Reaper guides those that have died to the afterlife. The best description of death is not the act of being dead, but instead the journey of ones soul to the afterlife. At least thats how I've always seen it.LatemYvaeh wrote:Hmm I wonder if he meant to use Hades or Pluto, as Charon is not Death?
Charon is not death, Charon is the Ferryman of the River Styx.
Mind you diety creep and name association by mere mortals could be wrong but most of the other mythical beings presented so far match their historical associations.

BTW Paul, "Death's Daughter" sounds like an awesome Wapsi spinoff.

They've really stepped into a deep poodle this time, and if they try to escape they'll be hounded unmercifully. If either of them is carrying a weapon, they'd better whippet out immediately!
Well, they might make them feel better...
Does this sound like anyone we know, hmmm? Someone we now know who has not one, but two acknowledged lines of nonhumans in her ancestry?A 2007 study identified a myostatin mutation particular to whippets that is significantly associated with their athletic performance. Whippets with a single copy of this mutation are generally very fast; those with two copies have disproportionately large musculature and are known as "bully whippets" although their temperament is not affected by this.

Could it perhaps be three?

How dare you steal my idea twelve hours before | thought of it.zachariah wrote:OMG. It's curtains for both of them.
Oh I wouldn't say that to Shelly even if it were true that she had a bit of canine ancestry (possibly due to those naughty sphinxes, many generations back). For one thing, as you suggest, there's no distance from which it would be particularly safe to do so.lake_wrangler wrote:Never underestimate the propensity of a body to bounce!Fairportfan wrote:I'll watch from over here ... i don't think any bodies will bounce this far.Jabberwonky wrote:YOU tell Shelly she's a bitch...
