I always did wonder how much his partner knew about him, because trying to keep his healing abilities secret from somebody he works closely with often would be really tricky. It wouldn't even have to be dramatic injuries such as getting "fatally" shot or stabbed; simply getting a scrape and then having it all healed within a minute would be really hard to just explain away.

Cops (and paramedics/EMTs) would be the people most likely to come in contact with paranormals, so I suspect that there's some mechanism for handling that . . . perhaps there's a class in the academy that covers dealing with paranormals, even paranormals within the department.

In my world, there are oaths that are magically binding so the sworn cannot talk . . .
