Panel 2: Bear, bare nuckled.

Panel 3: That's the most fearsome version of Atsali's warbird form we've ever seen! About as big as a Sphinx, and with a claw-hook that looks as if it could disembowel a brontosaurus with a single swipe.

I hope somebody steps in... fast. Where the hell did Gwen put that tranq-dart rifle?!?

Looks like both sides of her heritage are manifesting at the same time (note her ears and feet). I guess that answers the question of what her wings and tail would look like.

Perhaps there should be a day where all of the paras are allowed to drop their guises at school (provided they can still fit) so their friends know what they look like outside of human form.

IDK, NNedette's head is still attached, so I'm guessing Atsali was trying to ward off what she perceived as a big bear getting too close to her friends without hurting it too badly.

Are we sure Atsali knew that's Nadette? I don't see Atsali killing a bear if she has any option to do otherwise, even if she's in that form. After all, Nadette was sitting there talking as a bear.
