A good sign indeed.
Now, is Ellen going to accept it, or . . .
And flying upside down would be disconcerting and disorienting.

I notice the coach still does not have a name (no tag at the bottom, to identify her).
I love Abbie's line:

I love Abbie's line:
The 'gush' strategy. Either you win them over, or you convince them you're nuts!

I love that Atsali is not trying to deny anything that Ellen says, but rather is accepting responsibility for her mistake. The look on Ellen's face seems to convey that she was certainly not expecting that reaction, from Atsali.

You know, for some of us that's not a strategy, that's just what it is...

Indeed. I get the feeling that there is no strategizing or any after-thought in this gushing instance. Atsali is just being Atsali.Sgt. Howard wrote:lake_wrangler wrote:I love Abbie's line:The 'gush' strategy. Either you win them over, or you convince them you're nuts!![]()

Having said that, Abbie's line is still hilarious.

Looking again, Devyn looks a little surprised . . . does Ellen have a reputation?
Coach seems a little surprised too . . .
Of course, if Atsali just convinced Ellen that Atsali is nuts, well . . . "Never mess with a crazy person".

I'm just glad to find out Pablo is still alive...
I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.
Re: A Good Sign 2016-05-09 May 2016
I, did not see that coming . . .
I am glad that Atsali is better with her teammates than she is with her sister, and that whole sibling-typical-fight over everything kind of relationship.
A freshman predator throwing her weight around with a varsity predator squad captain would not end well

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

um its an AGE thing...(if you mean her 'sister' Castela...)meisdadoo wrote:I, did not see that coming . . .![]()

girls with similar age, are much more understanding....
I am sure if Castela got another sister with the same age as she is, they would team up and make Atsali's life even more confusing

I don't think Daylla lives with Castela...jwhouk wrote:Isn't that what Daylla is for Castela?

. . . which really doesn't affect the confusion factor, just the opportunities for confusion.illiad wrote:I don't think Daylla lives with Castela...jwhouk wrote:Isn't that what Daylla is for Castela?

with modern communications living together is not a critical factor

Yeah, It's unproven but I think the 'Bubbles' picture, w/ Atsali & Naddette, was meant to last us until Tuesday. At least thats how it worked out...

YES, it IS..... young kids have to go HOME at night!!! and yes, EVEN sleep overs happen only once a week maybe...oldmanmickey wrote:with modern communications living together is not a critical factor
IF you are an 'adopted sister', you have **24 hours** a day, to mess about with your 'same age' sister!

If two families live on the same block (metaphorically speaking) the young'uns may run tame in both houses to the extent that it becomes almost a blended family.illiad wrote:YES, it IS..... young kids have to go HOME at night!!! and yes, EVEN sleep overs happen only once a week maybe...oldmanmickey wrote:with modern communications living together is not a critical factor

During my high school years there were two homes, besides my actual own, that I could enter without knocking. But in balance, ther parents in those homes felt comfortable disciplining me as needed...AnotherFairportfan wrote:If two families live on the same block (metaphorically speaking) the young'uns may run tame in both houses to the extent that it becomes almost a blended family.illiad wrote:YES, it IS..... young kids have to go HOME at night!!! and yes, EVEN sleep overs happen only once a week maybe...oldmanmickey wrote:with modern communications living together is not a critical factor

And it may actually start in early grade school.

Yup. I was part of a similar reciprocal arrangement with a neighbor kid when I was in elementary. Well, the elementary school I was at for the longest, at least, before dear old dad dragged us off to some other place, chasing promotions.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Exactly what i'm talking about.Jabberwonky wrote:During my high school years there were two homes, besides my actual own, that I could enter without knocking.
