I love that Atsali is not trying to deny anything that Ellen says, but rather is accepting responsibility for her mistake. The look on Ellen's face seems to convey that she was certainly not expecting that reaction, from Atsali.

girls with similar age, are much more understanding....
I am sure if Castela got another sister with the same age as she is, they would team up and make Atsali's life even more confusing , while giggling together

If two families live on the same block (metaphorically speaking) the young'uns may run tame in both houses to the extent that it becomes almost a blended family.

During my high school years there were two homes, besides my actual own, that I could enter without knocking. But in balance, ther parents in those homes felt comfortable disciplining me as needed...

Yup. I was part of a similar reciprocal arrangement with a neighbor kid when I was in elementary. Well, the elementary school I was at for the longest, at least, before dear old dad dragged us off to some other place, chasing promotions.
