I hope Lydia makes non-Newtonian sports bras.

While Monday comics have been coming out early on Sunday afternoons, at times, they never have come out that early... On the other hand, there have been some Saturday cartoons, in the past, if I'm not mistaken...AnotherFairportfan wrote:I'm assuming this is the Monday post. If not, i'll come back and fix the title.
I guess time will tell.
...
But if when it does, will we understand what language time speaks in?

Time is not one of them.

Just as well . . . speaking time causes . . . eccentricities.lake_wrangler wrote:. . . I speak and read three languages.![]()
Time is not one of them.
Eccentricities even by our standards.
And they're communicable.

The language time speaks is Entropy.
He's mister GlytchMeister, he's mister code
He's mister exploiter, he's mister ones and zeros
They call me GlytchMeister, whatever I touch
Starts to glitch in my clutch!
I'm too much!

That would certainly be a momentous occasion, and may present us with all sorts of possibilities. Though if time did turn out to be sentient, we'd have to be cautious that things didn't end up like some sort of a horor movie.lake_wrangler wrote:But if when it does, will we understand what language time speaks in?
Of course, time might not even speak vocally. We might have to catch nonverbal cues, and watch for minute movements of its face and hands.

The Pun Jar has asked me to point out that it's four minutes to midnight.

Re: Vespa Run 2016-03-26
I rode a Yamaha hand-me-down, until the roomate who'd I'd lent it to forgot (habitually) to lock it up and it was walked away one day... Used to take it on 'the little road aside the freeway to Berkeley and back' odysseys of thirty miles or more, one way.In the film Star Trek Generations, the villain Tolian Soran quotes from Schwartz's poem, "Calmly We Walk Through This April's Day", telling Captain Jean-Luc Picard, "They say time is the fire in which we burn." ...
Still wouldn't mind at all a real Vespa or my own.

Yeah, but I don't think Harley makes Mopeds....

Archaic technology, deliberately under-developed to play to the nostalgia market.GlytchMeister wrote:I prefer Harley's.

Ok but, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda wish we had Monica back as main character. I just partially can't stand Atsali anymore, which is also something I never thought I'd say. But she just doesn't at all resemble who she was when she first appeared, and I'm not talking about the way she looks.

I fergot to mention in my initial post-
This is a great, archetype worthy, 'Paul-is-da-Man' type picture.
That is all...

I also like playing Super Mario Bros on the NES. If I specifically wanted an up-to-date motorcycle, I'd get a Ducati. Nothing wrong with nostalgia.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Archaic technology, deliberately under-developed to play to the nostalgia market.GlytchMeister wrote:I prefer Harley's.

Yeah, but then we'd be talking Shelly methinks, instead of Atsali...
