Finally, the mirror made me think of Evil Diva... Don't know why, it just did...

They (Evil Diva) recently recovered their site from hackers and rebooted the story, just FYI.

I know... it's so frustrating, to have read so much of it, and be unable to continue, as they are re-posting the story from the start and you have to wait for it to come up to where you had stopped reading... (Of course, I'll continue reading the new old posts, to remember the story...)

1) IIRC 'Thana' was the friend from the orphanage who came to an untimely demise, in fact I think it was Pickle who found her to begin with.

2) I'd just as soon as combine those North & South (ie Dakotas, Carolinas) states together, inc West and not-West Virgina so as to add a few more states and still keep the Fifty States and the Flag remain the same configuration. (I'm thinking Puerto Rico and perhaps some others...)

Folks in Fargo might take exception, and for that matter folks out here in long-ol' California are rabel rousing to carve the Northern Half away from the rest of the State so as to retain natural resources (water for the most part) and budget monies for use locally. They want to create a new state called Jefferson, after the former President.

Oops, rather than TWO states, it looks like some are hoping for SIX Californias



3) As I write this I'm helping out a few systems in one of my neighborhood churches, in the Computer Lab.
As I type (I'm waiting on a download to finish and install...) I am also overhearing the Sermon taking place in the great hall.
I'm finding it very amusing that today's picture references 'Devil Girls' ... on Good Friday. (btw- I'm not the least bit offended, but I did notice...)

And I hear "gals" on a regular basis . . . it's the feminine counterpart of "guys".

And in any case, it could be an archaism Atsali acquired somewhere - maybe from a book - which would spread through Griffon like wildfire if Queen Atsali uses it . . .
