Tigercat!

Post by Hansontoons »

We were talking aircraft recently, someone remarked they liked the Tigercat. I was at Wings Over Houston today and guess what was there...

And something else you don't see every day...

Former adversaries in formation. The Mustang and Spitfire are original, the ME-262 is a replica, one of five built by a company out of Seattle.

That is a beautiful machine. I could easily keep one in my back yard but hell if I know how I would get it to take off.

As far as that general class of aircraft from that general era go, I always liked the de Havilland Mosquito. Never really quite had room for one in my garage, though. . .
