Kate and i took the gitls to a PTA fundraiser this evening.  The school has concrete-block walls, no acoustic modification/control At All.

I fled back to the car, waiting to come in and take pictures when the girls' classes performed some songs, but the camera battery died while i was taking some pictures outside, and without the impetus of photography, i couldn't face the noise:

However, i did get shots of the girls with their faces painted:

(Maggie looks sort of like Ruby- from Sticky Dilly Buns - in that shot, now that i look at it bigger than just on the camera's screen)

Obviously not FPF but I can assist.

Posted on Arien's Photobucket. No point in linking to the Misfile forum thread, you have to sign up and be logged in to even read them.

You know what?

It occurs to me that I haven't been able to see that picture, either on the cell phone or the laptop...

Huh... (stoopid photobucket...)

PS- I commiserate re: auto repairs, my country car got some coil wires chewed by a squatter wood rat.

Also, nice pix, FPF. They remind me of me and my siblings in the early 70s...

Would it be legal and polite to just upload the image here in a post? I experimented with attaching it to a PM, but I couldn't find that option.

In under the impression that the picture is nsfw, so maybe not a good idea. Other option include a report via other picture housing site or just wait me out a bit more as I re-tackle the latest challenge.

None of the naughtiest bits are showing but yes NSFmostW. PB is really a pain to deal with now, but I think this link should get you the picture direct without the page.

Naw, currently internetting via cell phone and neither the Mobile or full site version of the page will actually load the picture. Ads?, ok, just not content.

Btw, my previous post has auto-correction errors...

Ok, thx for the suggestions, I was successful this am in actually seeing the aforementioned fan-commission'd entry.

I ended up copy/paste'ing it into Google Chrome, one of two additional browser on the phone, installed just for cases like this. (The other being Firefox...)

Two thoughts linger, (well the whole I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body thing has been done to death, and resurrection...);

- as a person who hasn't been following those characters, I'm other wise at a loss to explain why I thought it was boy-on-top-of-girl; but then again it was initially seen as two face close-ups, and sometimes they draw the guys a little 'dreamy'.

- looking at the expressions on the character's faces, I can recall feeling just such a feeling, (and going to again, sooner than later..)

Better get working on that...

the comic is Misfile and you're closer than you think with that thought... the person on top IS a boy... originally... apparently a slacker Angel by the name of Rumisiel was almost caught smoking on the job by the big boss in the records department of Heaven, and in his frantic attempt to NOT get caught, he dropped two files, and later got caught trying to put them back, but he screwed up and MISFILED them... the boy got turned into a girl, and only HE knows it, to everyone else, SHE has ALWAYS been a girl... and the other one is actually still herself, but she got her personal time-line rewound two years, and has to do everything over again, knowing full well what is going to happen for that time, though as the Butterfly Effect kicks in, and she changes things, the more and more things go off from what she remembers happening the first time round... a pretty good comic, though i need to catch up from a few months ago, my comic-reading time got reduced...

I think they usually recommend warming up with the Muttley wheezy laugh first, and then a series of Renfield chortles. It's no good going right into a loud MWAHAHA with cold vocal cords... causes all sorts of painful strain, tonsil rashes, and so forth.

I knew a guy who overdid it that way once, and he ended up walking around with a big padded splint on his adenoids for a month... sad.

I think the weather's on crack.

Just a little while ago, it wasn't raining, just cloudy. Then, for maybe 30 seconds, it was a light rain, then the bottom completely dropped out. Not a big deal, really, except I was outside (and I'm at work, too). My rain suit and waterproof boots are in my car at the far end of the parking lot, and my keys are in my locker. So I get my keys, put on one of the crappy spare rain suits with a few large holes in it, and step outside.

The rain had completely stopped, and the sun was doing its thing (it had been cloudy all day).

For some reason, that made me think of this I have no idea why.

This is a real photo.
