Thanks guys! This keeps the forum nice and neat.
It now has a pretty deep V-neck. Whatever cleavage she's sporting at the moment (a shapeshifter who can fake clothes, surely can adjust that too), it's showing.
She's checking out Atsali's reaction.
Remember - she and Berdine were making fun of the kind of girls who think "boobs = social power" when Atsali met them at the mall.
She could if she wanted to.
==========
Maybe she figures that, if Atsali were going to show interest in another girl, it wouldn't be another girl with with large breasts...
===========
Just happened to look back - Nadette's neckline appears to be in the process of morphing between Panels Three and Four.
===========
Also, Nadette appears to have been "wearing" a dark short skirt - and now she has light-coloured jeans.

Proof Positive the world is not flat: If it were, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.

OK, scrap that idea.
Oh, it was a good idea... just one which didn't work out. Considering that the Mapimi complex had prevented Bud from poiting, I'd say that there was a valid precedent for your hunch.
So, don't scrap that idea. Just disassemble it and put the components back into the bins. We can probably use them to build a new speculation of some sort within the next few months. Having them around may save us the trouble of driving down to Grainger for a new supply of WAGs.
Nadette is just modifying her outfit to be more practicable for the circumstances... Remember, Katherine went through her ordeal with Atsali in a skirt and blouse...
I suspect the Ursamorphs may be more talented than we have been led to believe.
If they are in the habit of simply morphing clothing, then it stands to reason they can actually leave articles behind, like a coat on a rack for instance.
So long as they have access to the extradimensionality space there is no reason their parts cannot remain connected that way.
Someone mentioned their potential as entertainers.
Their real forte is in spying.

Or someone touching the wearer, because unless Nadette was so startled that she couldn't even instinctively shift to a form that could have fallen more safely, she was frozen too.
Hope taking it off and putting it in your pocket nullifies its effect, because i'd be willing to bet that Atsali is gonna need to sprout wings somewhere along the way.

no it doesnt effect ssomeone touching the wearer. If it did then the test where Nadette went semi bear could not have happened.

True. Forgot that.

In fact, now that i think about it, it'd be a short sharp shock if you hadn't.
Since we've both watched Atsali work her way through the process of coming to terms with the more difficult and dangerous aspects of her birdy Siren nature, you should have known I wouldn't miss it.

Don't forget it's not a perfect tool either. It might have been able to suppress her siren-hood when she was merely startled and frightened, but when she was good and mad, her face markings and teeth all showed up.

as for the anti-poiting ability, it only seemed to stop LEAVING poits... and Bud was Vorped INTO the area by the Library, NOT via one of her own Poits so we don't know if it stopped INCOMING ones as well... however, i would hazard a guess that the device that prevented such, has been thoroughly vaporized by the prior base above this location being "retired" in a rather messy explosion set up by the Nu Gui... and that there aren't any limits on Poiting at this particular time... though the fact that NEITHER of the two girls CAN Poit makes it kinda irrelevant...
I'd go with some other supplier, Grainger overcharges QUITE a bit more than other suppliers in order to give you that convenience factor.

In about four years, if she ... emphasises ... her superstructure, she could be a real hit on the exotic dancer circuit...
No matter what path she might choose in the field of entertainment, she has an advantage over others: built-in anonymity! She never has to worry about paparazzi, since she can alter her form so that no one would recognize her anyway. Same thing with any other career that is out in the public eye (whether it's politics, or anything else...)
Both the bear babes would be in great demand as actresses, "honey i just don't understand how you can make that outfit look so real and such a part of you."
I am wondering if the talisman is designed to strictly effect her wings since that is what she was so worried about.
