I don't know enough about teenage girls thought pattens/processes, but I suspect today's page isn't too inaccurate

Panel 1: Ouch
Panel 2: Where are we
Panel 3: ooooh ... Fashion!

Would it be wrong of me to say that Nadette is definitely a dab hand at changing outfits?

I do wonder how Nadette was able to take the jacket off considering that it is part of her? She makes the clothes from herself by morphing the appearance of clothes after all. So taking the jacket off is like shedding her skin? Then reabsorbing it back into her body? This does not sound like something a shapechanger should be able to do is it? I can understand her shedding fur and making the jacket out of that but once the fur is shed it should stay shed.

Besides making the jacket from her fingers is pretty handy isn't it!

She does it like slight-of-hand and palms the outfit.

Nadette needs to become an entertainer of some sort. She could beat any pop star with the speed of her wardrobe changes.

As long as she's touching it the whole time, it can remain one contiguous piece. if she were to completely let go of it, then we might wonder a bit.

Atsali is definitely channeling Stan the ship merchant ... see how the pattern of the cloth stays the same no matter how she holds her arms :D

Hmmm, now I feel old ... and nerdy ...

Ah, but did Nadette take off the jacket? Or did she just make it look like she did?

As long as part of the jacket is in contact with her at all time there is no need to 'shed'.

oohhh ... or the T1000 from Terminator 2

I wonder if we will ever get a picture of the bear girls doing T1000 cosplay :geek:

Didn't expect the Library to send them straight on through, makes sense though. Thinking of the bear twins in a few years, cosplay, changing outfits and umm where did that cold shower go?

Don't worry many of us here are old or nerdy or a combination of the two.

Now she's just showing off.
I was expecting a Mystique clothing change as seen in the motion pictures.
( I'm sure you noticed that when Wolverine cut the fake Storm's cape, it hurt her. )

I'm just wondering if we had a Chekov's Gun thrown at us right here.

Hm... in the first panel Atsali has white patches on the elbows of her jacket.

In the last panel she has no patches.

And back here she has plaid patches in the last panel.

Apparently da bears aren't the only ones who can morph their clothes.

:?:

Oh, I get it.

Atsali's jacket must be made out of Quantum Cloth(tm) [My guess is it was bought from Schrodinger's (on the corner of Podolsky and Rosen)

Because of the unique properties of the fabric, the jacket both has and has not got elbow patches :geek:

Not quite sure if that explains the pattern though? :|

heh, if she can morph something as complex as a balloon animal (???) , then making a jacket 'look like' it is about to come off (just like the movies :) ) is simple!! :D

're-absorbing'??? NO, it is just shifted into another dimension, so you cannot see it... her total mass/size/weight does not change, it is just spread into other dimensions...
... and, um, it takes concentration to do it, you just try cutting up potatoes, when you are falling from a great height!!! :) :P

In about four years, if she ... emphasises ... her superstructure, she could be a real hit on the exotic dancer circuit...

She forgot, or is the space they just entered preventing her from transforming? A hunch tells me that Atsali's talisman has nothing to do with her sudden inability to fly.
OK, scrap that idea. :|

Hm... another wardrobe note. Earlier that day, Nadette's shirt had a rather demure, small, round neckline.

It now has a pretty deep V-neck. Whatever cleavage she's sporting at the moment (a shapeshifter who can fake clothes, surely can adjust that too), it's showing.

She's checking out Atsali's reaction.
