You mean Atsali won't be able to catch him?

Exactly. There is no difference whatsoever between "analog" and "digital" antennas. It is pure marketing BS just like "Aux" jacks on audio equipment are now often labeled "MP3". My old rabbit ears pick up the full 1080i ATSC signal just fine.

So he only loses his soul part of the time?

If you mean me, I cancelled my cable TV a couple of months ago to reduce the monthly bill. Truly, if not for that I'd have been camped out on the futon for hours, several times over the past couple of weeks.
:D what, no free broadcasts over there?? :) y'know, needing an aerial, like in UK... :p
A digital converter box is required for older sets thanks to something the Clinton administration set up. It's a pain in the ass and caused the death of many local channels in some areas.

After the *snirk*,
Nadette's next line is:

This finally caused me to Register, over a year and a half after the fact, just to point out the Bleeding Obvious about this page.

How could anyone not GET that Nadette's 'snirk' on clapping eyes on the guy was recognising the Bleeding Obvious? (Not to suggest that Gaydar directly translates between gay men and women, but she obviously got the cues.)

Nope.

A) Nadette, the seer, already knew precisely how this was going to play out, and

B) If you look at the next (story) page, he was definitely reacting in a standard Male-Sighting-Big-Hooters fashion. Literally getting horny.

Just because he reacted to Atsali's "assets" doesn't mean he's straight, http://tmi-comic.com/comic/head-game/

"The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but that's the way to bet" - Damon Runyon

However, what i was really getting at was not so much whether he's straight, gay or bi - it was that Nadette already knew what was gonna happen, so she had no need of any "gaydar" at that point.
