I find it amusing that Atsali talks about what "kids" wear to coffee shops... Almost makes it sound like she's older than the crowd she expects to see there...

Nitpick: Nadette's speech balloon, in the second panel, looks like it's missing some words.

Just pick out something that will show how thoughtful and smart.

Seems to me that the words "you are" should be there, at the end of the sentence...

Either that, or, since there wouldn't be enough space to fit it in, replace "show how" with "say:", and put "thoughtful and smart" in quotes. Although it would be better yet to replace "will show how" with "says"

Speaking of... since she's shown this same reaction when aroused no less than three times, it's probably not just a matter of getting distracted and being unable to hold her human form... it's gotta be a true, adaptive sexual cue or response in ursamorphs. Like y'all say, an ear-boner. Its exact role... it could just be an arousal display (like an erect nipple). Or, it might actually be functional... big ears make hearing both more sensitive and more directional... maybe Nadette's ancient ancestors were solitary hunters, who had to track down and locate a mate in the forest using sound as their primary cue when mating season arrived?

There was another radio play where the characters were lost in a cave system. They come to a huge room they have to cross. Oh my god! The floor is covered with thousands of giant spiders!". Fifty pounds of seedless green grapes and a pair of old shoes you don't mind getting icky...

Not necessarily. She is very young and those boobs are only about a month old. The ligaments could still be resisting gravity at this point. (In fact, from the way she looks when she's cavorting around braless at home, they seem to be impervious to gravity.) Plus, magic. She's a half-siren/half-incubus, so her magic is going to invested in her appearance...keeping everything perky beyond the laws of physics. The push-up bra is rather superfluous.

Not to split hairs, but wouldn't that be that she is half succubus since she's female? Pretty sure Succubus is the distaff of incubus and that each term exclusively refers to one sex.

Depending on the demonology/mythos, they could just be the gender-forms taken by the same creature. Metamorphs are like that. But as for Atsali...

Yeah, that'd be one hell of a tag-line. As bad in her way as what Galadriel would have turned into, if she'd accepted the Ring from Frodo and taken on Sauron's power. "In place of the Dark Lord you would set up a Queen, beautiful and terrible! All shall love me, and despair!"

(That is, if a Wapsiverse incubus is indeed simply the male counterpart of a Wapsiverse succubus. I recall Pablo making the point here in the forum that the characteristics of Wapsiverse mythics such as demons and succubi do not match the popular portrayals of the beings with those same class-names in popular literature. A Wapsiverse incubus might be something else entirely... possibly more of a Pan-like or satyr nature?)

(I'm reminded a bit of the story "The Region Between" by Harlan Ellison in the "Five Fates" anthology... one of five wildly different stories by five authors, which all start from the same two-page prologue). Ellison's story involves a being known as the Succubus, who stole souls. Nothing at all sexual about it... the Succubus was reselling them (or leasing them out) to fill a demand in the market. He was gold, he was dry, and he had immense amounts of face.)

Today - on the 20th - Paul posted a new picture - Atsali and Nadette - but there is no corresponding page to post comments named that. Am I to think that this posting is just an ad for art ? That seems to be the only reason that comes to what's left of my mind.
