The bad guy in that shot is the purple-tentacled ship. The big angry merostomatazon is helping to rescue the people on board.

No, but you can trick the board via colors. There was mention, a while back, of a program that lets you find out the color of something on the screen, and gives you the color code for it (it was said to be a program to help color-blind people). So you can then use the color tag and hide your text. Failing that, white text is also hard to read... (but not that hard, now that I actually try it...)

The Prince actually climbs a tree for the first time. He's not sure how to get down from that fork that's twelve or so feet in the air.



















I was experimenting to see how i could get the best video in Kate's lair where the Christmas Tree is when Maggie came dashing in almost yelling for me to get the camera (which, of course, i already had) and come get pictures.

It was actually dusk, so i had to use the flash, which worked out quite well. (Of course, the fact that i had the Nikon set at ISO 3200 didn't hurt.) I probably could have shot available darkness, if it hadn't been backlit because i was facing almost straight into the western horizon.
 
This series is gonna be printed and sent to Kate's mother, who misses him.

My daughter once shared a house with a bunch of other young adults and a kitten who learned how to climb trees by watching the squirrels.

That included how to climb *down* trees.

Head-first.

The Prince got down the last five or six feet by doing that.

Just watching a grey squirrel right now, upside down in the top twigs of a Norway maple next door. Height is about level with the second-floor roof (1910 row house with 8-foot ceilings), twigs are probably half the diameter of a pencil, maybe as small as the diameter of a matchstick. And there's a stiff wind.

Kittens have good toenails, but not like that.

Just downloaded this little app, and it works, within the limits of the camera on my tablet, anyway.

Here is a picture taken in our messy garage, with the stock Android camera app:



and here is the same scene shot with "HDR Camera" - note that this was hand-held as it took several shots and then aligned and processed them into an HDR image:



Note increased detail in both highlight and shadow regions; you can see the cat on the car, and the trees in the BG look nicer.

Later today, i plan to try shots with a wider range from dark to light.

The free version of the app (what i'm using) has a 3.8-star rating, mostly because of butt-hurt types whinging about the nag screen you get after each shot is processed. The paid version (currently available for 99 cents), which i plan to buy as soon as i can afford it (yes, i'm very poor at the moment) has a 4.8 rating.

Amazing that some people would consider the display of a range of saturated colors to be so unpalatable.

...and all he has to do is long-press it and select "EDIT" and he can give it any icon he chooses...

I was not aware that phone-app icons have a sexual orientation. Or even, assuming that icons DO have a sexual orientation, that an icon's sexual orientation would be of interest or concern to a human. I certainly have never felt any interest in having a sexual relationship with an icon, and I doubt that any icons have had such an interest in me.

If she's cheating, she should be doing better.

She has 8-10 items of clothing left. (8 visible, may have socks.)

Greenie has 1-6 items. (1 visible, may have boots, socks, and one glove.)
Tophat has 4-8. (4 visible, may have underwear, sandals, and another glove.)
Batgirl has only 2-4. (2 visible, may have sandals.)

I see why Batgirl is griping, but really there's nothing particularly improbable here.

Oh, and what sort of poker is it that puts four cards in a hand?

Edit: besides, x-ray vision is overrated.

I'm suspecting that the nipple-and-dime version i found somewhere else is actually a re-working of that piece of art.
