Re: Fan Art
Indeed, Jabber; it's pretty startling how diverse this fanbase can be. I've seen ponyfied comic-book characters, D&D heroes, video games of all sorts, the Scooby Gang, almost every sci-fi franchise under the sun, bands/musicians, and Rod Serling. Yes, Rod The-frikkin-Twilight-Zone Serling. Our tastes are skewed in several unexpected directions.
But all that is neither here nor there; I really want to say "well done" on that iLephant ad.

Jabberwonky, my net connection sucks sphinx dung as well. I can't watch a single vid without stalls. What I do with Youtube is pause the video, then when it is done downloading, copy the .FLV out of the cache. (This is much easier to do with Internet Exploder) Each 22min episode took me +40min to download but I did get the whole files.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that the driving force behind the newest incarnation of MLP has to be 'The Brain'.MerchManDan wrote:Indeed, Jabber; it's pretty startling how diverse this fanbase can be. I'm going to be very careful about watching this show...
And thank you for the kind words about a goony observation of a news pic...
I'll give that a try, but the stable connection to the interwebs I have access to blocks YooToob, so it's still kind of dicey...shadowinthelight wrote:Jabberwonky, my net connection sucks sphinx dung as well. Re: Fan Art
If I may suggest a free program; Freemake Video Downloader. It downloads from Youtube, among others. And a suggestion on using it. Turn off the One Click Download button in the upper right corner of the window. That way you will see a list of the possible download resolutions and have the ability to choose the one you want. Also, avoid the WebM ones in the list. They have compatibility problems sometimes. At least for me.shadowinthelight wrote:Jabberwonky, my net connection sucks sphinx dung as well. And all the lab assistants had to do was move them to a larger cage and change their diet card....Wdot wrote:Remember, people, it's all Jabberwonky's fault!
At least, until the Military arrived to supervise their 'relocation'.....
(This did not fit in with The Brain's plans).

Re: Fan Art
Considering the last time they got relocated they ended up in suburbia with uber-ditz Almira (I only wish I had made that up. The last season of their own show the lab was shut down due to budget cuts and they ended up with the brainless wonder) your idea would work better for Brain.NOTDilbert wrote:And all the lab assistants had to do was move them to a larger cage and change their diet card....Wdot wrote:Remember, people, it's all Jabberwonky's fault!

"Elmyra" was her name. A takeoff on Elmer Fudd.

Thanks, I knew I spelled it wrong. I also kind of found her to be more of a cross of several Loony Toon idots. Elmer Fudd by the looks, and Pete Puma, Mugsey and The Abominable Snowman by actions and mentality.jwhouk wrote:"Elmyra" was her name. A takeoff on Elmer Fudd.

Re: Fan Art
Just made an account finally to show off my own coloring of that second 'Dragon Slayers' picture! Doesn't have the same level of highlighting/shading as Jabberwonky's, but I like it :3.
