Thanks guys! This keeps the forum nice and neat.
Now that I'm not half asleep, I believe this to be a double entendre. Remember, this all began with Jet being Monica's girl crush. Mon wanted a body like Jet's and Jet wanted a body like Monica... hence the "We both want each other's bodies..." remark. In Jet's well lubricated (get your mind out of the gutter, I was speaking of alcohol), more than pliable, inebriated state, her morals and inner monolog are pretty hard to control. I think we've seen that Jet has had amorous feelings for Monica... and I believe Monica had spurned them before. When liquored up, Jet's inner dialog becomes her outer dialog. Jet would make a lousy spy... one drink and she'd spill every secret she knew.
That being said, I think it's time for Monica to fish or cut bait on this. Letting Jet express herself in manners that totally embarrass you isn't a good idea Monica... if you have no similar intents towards Jet, you need to tell her so in an unequivocal manner that she will understand... just do it when she's sober so it sinks in. Of course, it might be like throwing a thimble of water on a raging inferno in Jet's case... No matter how forcefully Monica makes the argument.
Not really a good Idea to dump a drunken person in a frozen lake.... If you did not realise, it was because she did not believe monica could do it... read the next few pages....
what is really needed is for Tepoz to do his trick, remove all the alcohol from her..

YES! they will venture out, and then 'kwooshhh!!!' be buried in snow, speech bubble saying...
'wh- what am I doin here???'
Possibly not the best thing to do to someone who is not only a friend, but your business partner.
And throwing a person who is drunk AND skinny as a rail into cold water might not be healthy...
Tepoz. Tepoz can sober up or inebriate anyone in seconds. Monica could poit the little guy there and have him fix Jet. Assuming she's willing to pull him away from whatever he's doing. Hopefully he's not taking a shower again.

I think you're right. Jet can't "hold her liquor."
And that phrase really does make a wonderful, punnish double-entendre for the intentions she's just announced to Monica, doesn't it?
Sexy, etc, aside, what I've found most interesting is the "The demons you anthropormorphised for me..." comment.
Monica had (always?) had the ability to deal with her demons directly -- Doubt at first, and through Doubt, the others. Hence, she is the Demon Wrangler. Following Jet's comment, her role in treating Jet's issues was to apply that gift to Jet, so she could deal with them more directly. What a deal, eh?
So, now the trick is knowing just when to ignore them!
Monica wrote:"If I don't do exactly what they say, the become completely.... Harmless!"
(Bonus points for the linky on that one)
Don't let other peoples limitations become your constraints!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it been said that for many survivors of rape and/or sexual abuse, they end up looking for/finding their worth in sexual promiscuity? Is it possible that this is what is at play here?
Furthermore, is it possible that, in the Wapsiverse, those feelings are partially being produced and/or encouraged by people's inner demons? If that's the case, Monica needs to teach Georgette the important lesson about not doing what your demons tell you to do. ASAP!
Meanwhile, I was also thinking that it seems Georgette has indulged in more than her share of that so-called "liquid courage"...

Well, Tina did say that Monica has a different handle on her demons than anyone else she's seen... Looks like she only gave part of the gift to Jet... She also needs to teach her how to handle them.

I was already in the process of typing up my previous post, and looking for said link, by the time you posted yours... I didn't notice it until I finished posting mine...

Looks like it is time for Tepoz to make a now rare appearance.
Come to think of it, maybe Bud was referring to the TV series Manhattan, and the five or so episodes where a Frenchwoman entices one of the leads into a lesbian affair.
...
Nah. Bud's had enough of nukes, why would she watch the show.
