@Wdot- Nice job. I didn't like that style wing when I was experimenting but it does look better colored in dark.
Doh! I uploaded the wrong one...I'd decided if they were playing in the water, they'd probably have no make-up...

So we've seen Nudge and Phix and ponies (super adorable btw)...any chance we could get more of the cast as ponies? Euryale? Shadow Girl (whatever her name is)? Tepoz? Deitzel? The GGGs? Mon, Shelly, Amanda, and Jacqui? And more?? :D

I'd find that entertaining. The only difficulty, I imagine, would be ensuring each ponified character looks different enough from one another; the pony template doesn't have as much diversity as humanity does. (ah, just remembered: shadowinthelight said pretty much the same thing here)

There would be more room for individualization, and projecting the personality of the Wapsi characters, if it were more than just ponies. The more you expand the choices, the more range for expression... from just ponies, to equines in general, to quadrupled mammals, to mammals in general, and then even wider. There's enough variation among birds, for example, that some skilled person could probably do a wonderful range of Wapsi caricatures which would really fit the personalities of the characters.

Could go even wider, I suppose, and bring in some invertebrates, although since most of them have very non-human heads and faces it would be difficult to map the Wapsi characters' features onto them.

Crustaceans are right out, I suppose. Nobody's going to follow a "My Little Prawnie" franchise.

...not sure if subtle mockery, or good-natured ribbing.

Anyhow. I approve of ponyfied Dietzel & Tepoz (no headdress?). Good work, wDot!

LOVE the Tepoz and Dietzel ponies!!! :D Thanks for that!

As for there not being enough room for individualization among the ponies...I thought that they had little markings on their rumps for that...or is that only in the old school MLP toys and not the animated series now? :) I don't actually follow the show. I just think MLPs are adorable, and I used to have a few toys when I was a kid (sometimes I really miss the '80s).

EDIT: Pony Eye Roll
I looked MLP-FiM on the Amazoom, YooToob isn't an option with my pitiful download rates, and found an interesting...thing...

The 'Customers Who Bought This also Bought' list had, in order, the following items...

MLP-FiM: Royal Pony Wedding
MLP-FiM: The Friendship Express
MLP-FiM: Adventures in the Crystal Empire
Marvel's 'The Avengers'
:?

Apparently the audience for this show is more skewed towards my tastes than I have been giving it credit for...
