Scene: a beach.
Our heroine: awake but wall-eyed, stunned.
Alarums and excursions; Bud enters Stage Left; cautious snakes in hiding; blushing Euryale; cast nattering and grommishing loudly, and pointing. More alarums and excursions.

I gotta wonder if Euryale isn't doing this on purpose because she really likes making out with Monica?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Marvelously done, sir! You must have some experience as a stage manager or playwright?
I wasn't familiar with the term "grommish" although it's clear from the context. Although I'm an American I'm more familiar with the British equivalent term (which leaves me with the image of a Brandi and rhubarb pie flying in from offstage and smacking somebody in the face!)

Not even duct tape can fix stupid. But it can muffle the noise.

Well, close - my mom taught English Literature in High School. So not only was I exposed to The Bard the year I actually took Lit, but also every semester during Lesson Planning......
One of my faves - which some poor souls just slogged through as a required chore.
Also: to simulated the sounds of mixed conversations, pair off the extras, and have one softly say "Natter, natter, natter" and the other "grommish, grommish, grommish." Or not softly. It works as long as everyone keeps the same volume....

I'll spend the weekend on wondering *what* the effect of this freeze-and-almost-melt was. It's pretty obvious from M's expression that, well, the expression's not from the kiss, but an effect of the f-a-a-m.
That's why Euryale is blushing, this was dangerous, and may actually have affected M. At least I think that's what Pablo's going for here.

I came to post basically this. What's that blush REALLY about?
Could be what the discussion that's going on is about.
"Did you have to take twenty minutes to 'thaw' her out this time?"
"Ah just wanted to be sure..."
"What, that she still had her tonsils?!"
Which would better explain Monica's googly eyes.

Those don't look like googly eyes, to me... they look more like barely alive, coming back to kind of eyes. I think she's still under shock from the sudden change in temperature.
And poor Monica... she looks like she just stepped off her 9th consecutive ride on the Cyclone.
