Bonus points for recognizing the joke, but no points for the incorrect answer.

That was more like a fireball, or a blast of fire...Sidhekin wrote:Man, who didn't?jwhouk wrote:"Who got hit with a burning wall of fire?"
That is, of course, the right answer... too bad it was 1½ hours too late...Sidhekin wrote:Bia, that's who. Charon caught the blast.

We need a question, stat!
Re: Wapsi Square Trivia Quiz
The "Man, who didn't?" answer that came to me, was "Every damned person in Lanthis" (double entendre fully intended).lake_wrangler wrote:That was more like a fireball, or a blast of fire...Sidhekin wrote:Man, who didn't?jwhouk wrote:"Who got hit with a burning wall of fire?"
I'm not sure there's a strip which properly does that scary instant justice, though... Bia's the person we saw specifically get run through the toaster.

Fourth grade. Monica. Or, her boobs, more specifically...Atomic wrote:OK -- question time!
"100% natural since ________"

The subject comes up a few times, so I can't be sure of the context of this one (which makes it harder to look for), but I remember the wording.
Two instances that I remember:
When Shelly and Monica tell someone else of the first time they met, and Shelly asked if they were real (and their conversation hasn't moved up the ladder much, since then...)
M and Amanda, discussing first impressions (it was about someone else, originally), and M used herself as an illustration: what would you think if you saw me for the first time, in the street? And you'd be wrong!
Another instance, which I know is not the one we're looking for, is when discussing how she met Yummy Tea:
*flashback*
YT: you're bumpy!
M: Twerp!
At least once, perhaps more, she also asks why she would even do something like that to herself (to have such big implants inserted, had they been implants), and she once mentioned that if she could afford to put such implants in her body, she wouldn't be drinking at Darin's bar.
You know, I will second guess myself, and amend my answer to say THIRD grade. The time(s) when fourth grade is mentioned, she already has boobs that are bigger than the teacher's.
So if anyone finds the link, they certainly can ask the question, unless Atomic deems my answer worthy and provides the link himself.

1. (The obvious) She doesn't have her silver eyes.lake_wrangler wrote: Q: Name two characteristics of Tina's which do not show up in her first two appearances.
2. She doesn't have her "fangs".
Now, the big follow-up question:
"Have we ever seen Tina not wearing her trademark choker?"

Just because you're asking the question in this way in this forum, the answer is yes.jwhouk wrote:Now, the big follow-up question:
"Have we ever seen Tina not wearing her trademark choker?"
(Imagine posting a link to a page that proves the answer is no. It, um, doesn't work. Even conceptually.)
However, I don't have a link to proof.

Another right answer would have been her ability to read someone's order from their aura.

Re: Wapsi Square Trivia Quiz
Of course, it can be proven. All you have to do is post a link to every single comic strip in which Tina appears, and if she always has the choker, you have therefore proven that there are no places in comic where she is not wearing it. A simple solution, no?Warrl wrote:Just because you're asking the question in this way in this forum, the answer is yes.jwhouk wrote:Now, the big follow-up question:

Re: Wapsi Square Trivia Quiz
And this is when it happened!
It made sense, really. I first looked at the dream sequence, where Bia talks to her, but she does have it on her neck then. This was the other logical place to look for. (I just hadn't had time to look for it, until now...)
She looks nice, with her hair down.
