I did a color of the 'Pin-Up Week' version of this and gave her blue nail polish. Someone raised a similar question and Paul answered that Dylan is a bit off beat and blue nail polish was not out of the question. (It turns out that the question was blue nail polish with red lipstick...)
scantronb wrote:@Jabberwonky: what song is that sung to? or is it original lyrics?
Mark N has it, it's Rick Springfield's 'Jessie's Girl'

EDIT: I thought it was in here.

Inspired (polite words for it) by a poster in the background of The Coffee Shop of Doom. (I get a giggle everytime I see it)

Do you perchance mean Coffee of Doom?

God help us all if Monica and Shelly walk in to Coffee of Doom. Especially if Faye and Hannelore are working.

By the way - there's a little problem with the parody "Jaguar Girl" - the first verse is incomplete.

Jaguar Girl
(To the tune of "Jessie's Girl", by Rick Springfield)

Tepeyollotl is a friend
Yeah, I know he's a good deity of mine
But lately Monica's changed
And it's hard to define
She's been poiting everywhere
And tryin' to fix the time

And she's looking at him with her third eye
And she's walking two worlds, I just know it
And she's worshiping him late, late at night

You know I wish I had a Jaguar Girl
I wish that I had a Jaguar Girl
Why can't I find a woman like that?

Can't tell exactly when she changed
She's always been a little bit strange
I think that I could wait,
But will they ever part?
I want to tell her that I love her,
But don't give Aztecs your heart

'Cuz she's looking with her third eye
And she's walking two worlds, I just know it
And she's worshiping him late, late at night

You know I wish I had a Jaguar Girl
I wish I had a Jaguar Girl
Why can't I find a woman like that?

Like Tepeyollotl's girl
I wish I had a Jaguar Girl
Why can't I find a woman
Why can't I find a woman like that?

I talked to Smoking Mirror
Is this how it's supposed to be?
Can't I have a happy ever after?
What's in store for me?

Tell me why can't I find a woman like that?
You know that I wish I had a Jaguar girl
I wish I had a Jaguar girl
Why can't I find a woman like that?

Like Tepeyollotl's girl
I wish I had a Jaguar Girl
I want, I want a Jaguar Girl

Awesome game simulation from comic edited out for length

If anyone can recommend a good freeware video editor that will let me piece together the existing still frames and sound from scratch I want to make a more elaborate version with more animation and proper speed.
AWESOME!! No other words can express how cool this was! :D

It was edited to fit the time slot allowed...
I don't know how I dropped two lines...
Nice fix, though... :D

Of course, to COMPLETELY foul things up, it's "D-e-i-t-y"... ;)

But can you have "deity" in a "ditty",
without being so dizzy and snitty?

(Not that you were either, jwhouk... I just had to make the rhyme sorta-work).

I also would alter the bridge, now that I think about it:

I talked to Smoking Mirror the other night
Asked her what's in store for me?
Can't I have a happy ever after this time?
Is this the way it's supposed to be?

Hey, even Weird Al Yankovic tried to get his songs to sound just like the real thing. I mean, he actually got EVH to do the guitar licks for "Eat It", if memory serves.

I think we need to move on to something else - like someone making up Nudge as the secret "lost My Little Pony". ;)
