Right around this time (2300 hrs. CDT) yesterday. Or, at least, the site wasn't available for a while.

When was the DDOS attack? How long did it last?
I had some trouble getting through to the site yesterday afternoon (PDT) for an hour or so, if I recall correctly. DNS resolved but the server didn't respond.

Possibly the old story is true... the Fae really don't like having mortals talk about them?

As it turns out, an image of the event in question was captured for posterity by, well, someone....

You can't sing that cadence anymore!!! It's forbidden in this wussified military. LOL
So they have stopped using limerick based marching cadence in the military?
I did recently re-read Skippy's List and I don't recall seeing 'limerick based' in the not allowed to be used in a cadence item.

Not saying that's definite, but if it's not mentioned there it might still be ok to be used?

Neither. The Wapsi Square version is a giant pit of mayonnaise-based sauce. Paranormals often go there when they need something to go on their fried fish.
I think someone owes the Pun Jar something significant for that. :P
