If Kath walked in right now I think she might be shocked at first, but have to snicker at least a little... as she remembers her own embarrassment after she and Atsali fell out of the temple and bounced down the stairs here: http://wapsisquare.com/comic/kerplunk-kerplooie/
Kath: *snickers* "Wheeeeere's Castela? Castela, wheeeeere aaaaaarrrree youuuuuuuu?"
Atsali: "Mom, cut it out this isn't funny!!"
Castela: "I bet you can't find me mom!!! I'z hidden!!! Real good!"
At this point, Kath would probably break down and help extricate Atsali from her present situation and after getting the full story of what happened, sit little miss Castela down for a talk about personal space. Of course, we all know that at that age, that would be like giving them guidance on how best to annoy her sister... Funny thing is, even though you know it's going to give the little one a road map to all of the older sister's 'what annoys me' buttons, it's a talk she has to give, at least for Atsali's sake.

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

My sister once lost her cell phone while out paying bills. She came by work to ask Ma and I if we found it there from her earlier visit. While she checked the Ladies' Room, I scuttled around the rest of the Gallery, checking every place a small phone could be dropped. Sister left, retracing her errand route. Later she came back embarrassed. Yes, it was in her décolletage. She had turned the ringer off, and someone called her, setting the vibe off, startling her.

I forget the title of the anime, but the picture on the TVTropes page for "Victoria's Secret Compartment" shows a girl in the process of pulling out a full-sized rocket launcher...TheDOCTOR wrote:I think I saw something like this in an Anime once. And yeah, I think Kath will walk in right about now. Unless Paul can make the situation More Embarrasing.

During grenade training, I once saw a busty lady fumble a grenade after pulling the pin and drop it down her front. Luckily it was an inert practice grenade, though she wasn't actually aware of the fact at the time. Much yelling and flailing ensued.kingklash wrote:My sister once lost her cell phone while out paying bills. She came by work to ask Ma and I if we found it there from her earlier visit. Now patiently waiting for the scene in which we see Cassie's head pop up through the cleavage, greeting Katherine with "Mom! Atsali's being mean to me!"
And it does give a whole new meaning to the term "boob plant."

Heh. Castela's crossed eyestalks, lolling tongue, and atomic swirlies around her head - that was a good tackle....

Have you ever seen a peregrine stoop on its prey mid-air, or a large eagle kill a wolf? Castela did say that Atsali is half raptor, so high-speed precision aerial strikes may be part of her natural skill set.NOTDilbert wrote:Heh. Well, now that you mention it, I am still waiting for Amanda to turn up covered in milfoil and other bits of Lake Calhoun ... though I was expecting her reentry to be in Nicollet Mall ...TheDOCTOR wrote:And yeah, I think Kath will walk in right about now. Paul sort of pulled something like that in 2003: http://wapsisquare.com/comic/10312003/ No way something that big could have been in the bag he showed. Love the expressions on the girls in that one. Shelly would have been particularly disturbed, of course.TheDOCTOR wrote:I think I saw something like this in an Anime once. That itching may be due to poison ivy like allergies, which could lead to swelling, as if she needed more swelling after she was stung by bees.NebulousRikulau wrote:Ooo. I bet that itches.

Hello. Long time lurker, first time poster here.
I am a big fan of Wapsi Square and have been reading for years. But I have to say, the repeated story lines fixating on the 15 year old's breasts are starting to kind of creep me out. Maybe it's just me, but between all the plot-lines involving her breasts and some of the risque artwork of her that was posted awhile back, I'm starting to feel uneasy. I love the art and style of the adult women in this comic, and enjoy seeing that... but not so much on a 15 year old. The coming of age (or rather, "coming of boobs") plot itself didn't bother me much... it's the continued fixation on the subject that feels weird to me. Again, maybe it's just me.
I don't want to upset or offend anyone, but I am curious if anyone else feels this way.

When I was in Basic Training I was told of the klutz who hauled back to throw his live grenade and lost his grip.
The grenade rolled into the trench holding the trainees.
The grenade then sailed out of the trench, over the heads of the thrower and his safety officer, and into the impact area before it exploded.
I was told this story by a safety officer while hunkered down at that very throwing station.

The TV Tropes illustration credits Giant Robo. but my limited search of the name on YouTube did not show any short segments with the sequence.

Probably right - and she's getting a lot of practice lately trying to push Castela's non-existent off switch.Catawampus wrote:Have you ever seen a peregrine stoop on its prey mid-air, or a large eagle kill a wolf?
