The Secret 2013-12-31
I don't know- 5-year olds can be a very, very tough audience.

It's Mrs Harvey.

This could be why Mon still looks worried.cmdrpowers wrote:I don't know- 5-year olds can be a very, very tough audience.

Re: The Secret
She probably took the job just to keep track of all their kids in school. Sextuplets are the norm after all. They can make a movie about the teacher called Bunny Girl.
At least she is hoppy to see Monica. ba-da-dum (rim shot)

Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

I'm done thinking for today! It's caused me enough trouble!
Re: The Secret
Interesting that the teacher is in paranormal form, maybe its to make the tikes more comfortable because they can't look human, yet.
Be interesting if a while later in the strip Monica bumps into an incredibly average looking woman on the street who introduces herself as Castela's teacher.

Re: The Secret
Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world where the people who WANT to be looked up to would follow that secret?
But five-year-olds don't contribute millions to political campaigns.

Re: The Secret
well the secret is that *most* celebs are not that confident, like monica.... and note that M took a long while to even believe these fantastic things..

Re: The Secret
Maybe the class will be introduced to Monica and we'll find out what each of them are.
I'd like 'The Littlest Sasquach' to be the class valedictorian.
(Something like the SNL skit where The Hulk speaks at Superman's funeral.)

I like all the foot prints along the tops of the walls.
Would they be teaching aids (this is how your human foot print should look) or are they 'foot paint prints' from this (and/or previous) class/grade?

I think Monica just re-discovered the original Roy Rogers career planning guide.

Re: The Secret 2013-12-31
She looks like she might be slightly Asian in decent... which would work because the Japanese really go for the bunny-girl thing. As noted above, Monica is out and runs into a demure Asian woman who looks awfully familiar.
"Hello Monica... we've met. My name is Bu-ni Usagi... I'm Castela's teacher."
Usagi is Japanese for Rabbit... Bu-ni Usagi... Bunny Rabbit... get it? hehehehe
