Lovecraft wrote stories titled "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" and "The Lurker at the Threshold". (Actually, i see that that one was a "posthumous collaboration" by August Derleth, writing ths story from notes by HPL.)

One of the most important things to consider when you're taking pictures is "remember your background". The picture above^ is the second i shot of Bright Eyes on the back of Kate's chair. I failed to observe that the door behind the chair was open. (Tastefully blurred for the delicate of spirit.)
Not even duct tape can fix stupid. But it can muffle the noise.

I dunno... the first picture seems quite tasteful to me. Considering that you have a most regal cat sitting there, it's perfectly appropriate to also depict a throne!
