For those of us not up-to-speed on German drinking songs.... "A Schnitzelbank is a “shaving horse,” a type of woodworking bench. It could be used by farmers, basketmakers, wheelwrights, and coopers. It could be used to make barrels that hold beer; coopers used the shaving horse to shave barrel staves."

Sure, it seems like fun... now.

"It's just one or two oompahs" you say to yourself. "That's nothing. I can handle a couple of oompahs. No trouble."

And, maybe you can. It never stops there, though. Pretty soon it's a whole chorus of oompahs. A whole wall-full. You're having oompahs all evening long.

Before you know it, you have to have an oompah or two when you get home, or you can't get to sleep. You find yourself sneaking recordings of Octoberfest celebrations into your college lecture classes so you can listen to them while the professor drones on and on about modern financial conventions and the balance of trade in cabbages.

You find yourself listening to old, cracked and noisy oompah collections on dirty, scratched LPs rather than calling your Special Gal for a chat after school.

And then, it really gets grim.

Get help before the oompahs get their claws too deep into you, Atsali!

Unless someone hits you over the head repeatedly to make you stop. Then you have oompah-lumpas.

Mister Dunderback (also known as "Johnny Roebuck").

There was once a butcher specialising in sausages in Cumberland Mall in Cobb County, and it was named "Dunderback's".

While I'm not fond of beer, I gotta say I like the beer maid outfits. Though, I think I prefer Skylar's less top-heavy look in the outfit, but that's just me.

Considering the theme and the para orientation of the bar... the cook is probably preparing a fresh batch of dragonschnitzel, and it's not quite ready to serve yet. Takes a lot of pounding with a big mallet to tenderize dragon flank steak properly, y'know.

Better that, than kraken sushi.

Not just you. some of us have differences of opinion with Pablo on top-heavy protagonists. Not enough to stop reading, mind you, just esthetic differences.

Is Atsali using her siren song powers to induce good cheers? :)

Perhaps the siren song requires a narrower focus... imagine folks three or so rows in front of her turning their focus away from the flag during the National Anthem?

It shouldn't . . . it should be more like ammonia.

And Atsali looks like she's on the edge of wardrobe failure.
